Some of my norns r born facing the hand. But thats not just the problem! When I click on them 2 walk em around they stay in the forward possition and just move around with out using their legs! Sadly after 2-5 Minutes they pass away into Shee/norn/ettin/grendel heaven *sniff* Can I fix this with CAOS so that they don't die?  ~Ratty <3 |

Your norn probaply got the slider syndrome. You can,t fix it, its a mutation in the genetics. I think CFE creatures can,t get this mutation because their poses and gaits can,t mutate anymore. |

Of course, as noted in the wiki article, you could fix their genes! Also make sure that the parents of these Norns breed carefully to prevent more deaths! Sorry to hear about your creatures dying Don't be worried about who is right, Just follow you heart... |

Each gene in a norn is numbered, and it's random as to whether a norn gets gene such-and-such-a-number from mum or from dad. As I recall, Jelisa_j discovered that Amanora's genomes were rearranged quite a lot - so crossbreeds can end up with genes essential for norn survival replaced by other genes from their Amanora-parent, leading to a higher chance of slider children among crossbreeds. I suggest you install the genome update provided by Amanora, which doesn't have a rearranged genome. My TCR Norns |
