In the C2 science kit what does organ cost mean?
200th post (woohoo)
EDIT: It seems no one knows the answer to this so I will have to research it myself!
EDIT2: Yay! found out! It appears that the organs cost tells you how many units of ATP (Adrenosine triphosphate) it uses every second! There is not a chemical reaction for ATP but the game engine deducts the total organ cost every second! My test was this: create a norn that did not create ATP. Hatched norn with initial ATP of 255. The ATP ran out after 4 seconds and total organ cost was 54. 54x4=216! I love research!
EDIT3: Organ cost depends on the number of reactions, emitters, and receptors in an organ. In the case of the brain it depends on lobe count! Did anyone already know this?
EDIT4: Ok I'm going to do one final research on this topic! I'm am going to find out if organ rate has a connection to ATP use!
