Can anyone show me a picture of a creature spliced with Gaia?

dont try, it crashes your game. i cant use minigensplicer without exporting gaia
in the spring you gotta let the flowers fully blossom

I'm not going to try it, Gaia dosen't work for my C3 anyway.
To Papriko: I heard someone say that a creature spliced with Gaia looked really funny.

I've tried it myself just out of curiosity--didn't even get to see what the offspring looks like because my game started spounting errors and suffering general crashyness the second it was born.
Gaia doesn't even have the same number of sprites as a normal breed (for instance, only 32 head sprites instead of 192), so a Creature that has Gaia body parts but normal pose or expression genes will crash your world. The chances of getting a viable combination are pretty slim unless you purposely gengineer a hybrid.

I have a nice genome. You could try it with that. I extracted it from an immortal Peter Pan slider. Norns from that genome only have the usual slider-pose, so I guess it could work with GAIA.
You can even raise the chances on success when you splice them via Inseminator and make the egg female. Point at the egg and type this:
Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

Hey, has anyone looked into making a patch for Gaia, i.e. adding in placeholders for the 'missing' sprite files?
My (unresearched) understanding is they were missing in the first place because CEE tends to load all creature sprites into memory, and Gaia's huge sprites were a RAM hog; not so much of an issue with modern computers
.. on the other hand, I could be completely wrong. I don't actually have it installed and am going off ghost's word that there are sprite issues

To answer your question, all the Gaia splices I've gotten through the warp have been awesome snake-things that couldn't move. |

From what I've heard, C3/DS is limited in how much RAM it is allowed to use, so a better computer doesn't necessarily mean any difference--the game's own limitations prevent it from using additional resources. If that's the case, it's always going to be a problem.
