I just got a new laptop and I need to know if I can use my original username and activation key etc. to install DS on it. Also, it has Windows Vista, so is there anything in particular that I should do besides run in in backwards compatability mode and put the image quality down to 18 bit? Many thanks in advance!

About compabillity and such I have no idea, but you can use your Username and PW on as many machines as you want. As long as your connection is good and you do not try to go with 2 machines at once online while using the same Name, it works all fine.

You shouldn't need to run backwards compatibility mode OR 18 bit. It runs just fine for me as-is.
And of course you can use your original username and activation key. Assuming you mean the password and login to register a world, and not some funky DRM or something (in which case I don't know). For the username/password it doesn't matter what computer you're using. I've switched computers three times and my first username/password still work fine.

Thanks so much! I'll be re-downloading sometime this week, so if I encounter any problems you'll be the first to know!
