I feel pretty gutted because I've lost my olde faithful Halloween and Christmas avatars.  They were backed up on my webspace, but my dad cancelled it and I didn't think to save them anywhere else... How clever am I. Does CC.com have users' avatars backed up anywhere on the server, or is it a case of me creating some new ones? |

I just skimmed through backed up CC.com pages on archive.org but unfortunately they only have your current icon. I think I probably had them all backed up on my old computer but I no longer have it. And I checked on the server space but I wrote the icon uploading script so that everytime you upload a new icon it replaces your old one. So unfortunately I don't think I have a copy anywhere, but it seems like we should be able to track them down somehow. - Rascii |

Thanks for trying.  It's not the end of the world if they can't be recovered, but they have a sentimental value because I had them for so long. |

It's really annoying too because when I search for your profile on archive.org it remembers the pages from both October and December, but on both pages your icon is a broken image. I was so close to finding them! But alas they weren't preserved. ![:\](/images/smilies/confused.gif ":\") I'll keep my eye out for them though.- Rascii |

Thanks, I'm going to keep looking as well, haven't given up yet. I wonder what the chances are of Huffamoose having them backed up somewhere... Probably pretty slim, it was a good 4 years ago. |

aww Rasc's a sap  I want my old avatar back too. the one with the whale and the big letters "kill". At some point is spontaneously changed to whatever it is i have there now. As far as i know.
