I am Harlequinade (Partly to demonstrate my love for Harlequin Norns!), though some of you may know me as The Great Humberto, from DS. While I may be new to the Creatures Caves forums, I am not new to Creatures Caves (This is my favourite site for COBS) and I am certainly not new to Creatures- I grew up playing Creatures 1. Later on, I discovered Creatures 3, before later updating it to Exodus. I have never played Creatures 2, so I am hoping for C22DS to come out. It's great to see and meet other Creatures fans!   nuni   12/28/2010 Hello, I am nuni. I joined CC a while back (probably around 2002/3) when I was 12 (With this same username). I left CC a year later and today I found out that my old account still works, hence the need for a (re)introduction. I now study computer science and A-Life is my field of interest, that is why i still like creatures so much :p. Since I rediscovered that great game, I wished to take a more active part into its community. I'm not as experimented as several members could be and actually I'm trying to fully master the whole gameplay of the games. And also trying desperatly to make Creatures 2 running again. And I actually have no idea what more to write here. - Horstj   Thoaee   5/25/2011 Hey hey hello! I just wanted to drop a line to let you know I joined this community . I have been pretty active in creatures 3 and DS, but never really in any of the social aspects. So, about me...? I'm Thoaee [tho-ee], I am 23 years young, going on 24 (11th of June). Been playing Docking station and Creatures 3 for about... pff, must have been a good 7 or 8 years by now. I started when docking station just launched, and all that was available was the ChiChi Norns. Shortly after I purchased Creatures 3, and was a happy camper in my big space station. But boy oh boy was I surprised when I caught my first glimpse of a Grendel o.o They were so cute! But as of yet I have not really come across a Grendel breed that personally suits me. The Banshees come close, but so far not what I'm looking for. Anyway, so after that I started looking on forums, websites,for anything that would suit me and what I found was not a Grendel at all, but a cute little Norn. Perhaps you've heard of them, the Temple Norns (check my Avatar)? Sadly to find out they weren't finished, the Old-life stage sprites were missing, and there was no .agent file. I added those for personal use ^^. So that about wraps it up about my and a little bit about my creatures history. I'm sure you'll see me around. xXx Thoaee p.s. Text in your signature will wrap automatically, but an image can be up to about 360 pixels, and after that it would start to stretch the forum. (See the CC Chat banner below as a working example, it meets the limit pretty snugly.) My name is Notomys and I've played the creatures games for several years now (I started when C2 first game out). I recently "returned" to the games when I found them on G.O.G. My favorite game is probably C2-- I really loved the lush "feel" of the world. I was never terribly active in the community, but I'd like to change that. I'm 20 years old and just recently downloaded "The Albian Years". However, I've actually been a Creatures fan since I was about 9 years old. My first Creatures game was Creatures Adventures, and then I moved on up to the Trilogy. However a year later, my Windows 98 stopped working and the disc didn't work on the new XP. So for a few years after that, I occasionally borrowed C1 or C3 from my cousins who had them, but I often greatly missed having my own creatures. Nearly 10 years later, I have the full creatures games for 1 and 2! Although C1 is now my favourite :3. ALSO: Just after downloading C1 and 2, I noticed they were making a Creatures 4! How amazing and unbelievable is that ?! Before looking at the site/forums I was entirely sure the entire Creatures fan base would had died out before 2005... but I guess I'm not the only one who remains attached to old, lesser known things like Creatures. There are others in the community who also play, although it might be safe to say that C1 is still a bit in the minority. Enjoy! I haven't played any of the games for around 2 years and did recently come back to creatures. I got all the Creatures games but prefer C1 and DS/C3. Most of the part i prefer Wolfing runs as i found that the most interesting and fun. And if any of you wanna know my old name it was: Ettinlover. Welcome back!   Minx   12/25/2011 Hey Guys! My name is Minx, and I began playing Creatures at its infancy about fourteen years ago (give or take a year.. I think I was about thirteen). Anyway, lately I have felt the nagging anticipation of a game similar to the series, and researched the topic as much as I could. I found Steve Grand's new project on Kickstarter and, soon after, the announcement of C4 for iOS and PC. I am more excited for the former, but it also lead me back to my roots. Today, I purchased the Creatures saga on Gog.com, and I'm a few hours into playing around with it. I want to really sink my teeth into either C2 or C3, but I don't feel like I have enough time for both. I was really into the game when C1 was popular--had a website and everything. As of now, this is one of the only websites I found that have regular postings. It's nice to see there is still a community out there! To make a long story a little bit longer, I just wanted to see which version of the game folks on this site generally play. I would like to be an active community member once again, so I'd like to be playing a version that others are as well. Again, I'm so happy to see that there are still dedicated players, and I'm excited to get back into the gene pool. I'm going to play C3 for a bit more this evening, but it's becoming increasingly complicated as I go along.. Ah well. Minx I want to create a C3 breed someday..
