Actually you sound as if you wanted to blame someone for it. It is not Rascii's fault at all that the forum had those glitches. As said before, it was just the host (those that Rascii pays, not Rascii himself) dropped the PHP 4 support and he had to fix up almost the whole website code. And regarding the fact that he had to patch pretty much every single website feature all alone and by hand, I think he did pretty well and pretty fast.
Brilliant: got an old HDD motor and eventually could start making experiments with it.
Annoying: it is a 3-phase AC motor, which are pretty darn annoying to power from DC current (such as batteries).
