Feirie is now a child and Derix thinks his time has come, so he asks Shadyk to watch her as he goes to his final resting place. Herb |

Shadyk worriedly asks Derix who will lead the ettinchis now. |

Derix puts his paw on his shoulder, "Lead well Shadyk." he says laying down on a rock, with his last breath he says "I love you Feirie..." and goes into a deep everlasting sleep. Herb |

"I-I'm the leader now?"Shadyk says, stunned. Shadyk goes to the middle of the camp and says "It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Derix has died. But, with his last breath he chose a new leader:Me. I will lead you all into glory! We shall make our paradise that our true leaders, Talorio and Ameerega, dreamed of! Stand aside or step aside! We are the ettinchis! We are the ettinchis!"."Our first order of business in restarting the invasion is to get the camp more organized. Then, we train. Finally, after all preparations are made, we attack!" |

Shadyk gives orders to the other ettinchis."Zabuza and Wraith, I want you to choose a spot in the camp and make a shelter there. You will sleep there, have your medical supplies there, you will treat ettinchis there, and badly sick or injured ettinchis will sleep there instead of their own dens so you can keep an eye on them better. Now I need to choose someone to be in charge of the weapons and get them better organized. Who here has some experience with weapons?" |

Feirie walks over to Shadyk looks up at him with her big blue eyes, and wants up. Herb |

Shadyk picks up Feirie and says to her" I feel sorry for ya kiddo. Your papa is gone and you ain't gonna see him for a while. You're gonna make him proud though when you become a spy for us no doubt about it. Heck, with my spells and your info, we'll win the war in a week! The ettinchis will finally have a paradise of their own instead of roaming the other territories. Yesssss". |

Wraith prepares some salves and tends to the wounded in the hospital, which is set up in a cave near where the hiding place for the kids was. It has curtains covering the entrance to reduce drafts, and modified hover-boards serve as beds, while flying fish provide light and carry messages. [chirping and clicking]  Clicks for a winter god! >  |

Wraith lets Feirie sit on his lap with some blankets while he keeps an eye on the biometrics and security camera feeds. [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! > |

The egg hatches and a little ettinchi girl appears. Ik zwaai met mijn handen en mijn handen zwaaien terug. |

Satisfied with all of the changes and projects being done around the camp("We actually look like a force to be reckoned with now" he mutters), Shadyk decides that now would be a good time to start up a mini army of sorts. He picks a rather small force of 20 ettinchis who he will command in battle and 7 more to guard the camp when his force is gone. He takes them all to the armory so he can assign them weapons to train with, ranks, and positions in battle. He divides his force into 3 groups: melee fighters, they fight with weapons like swords and knives, throwers, they use things like spears and halberds, and finally long-range fighters, who use bows, crossbows, and longbows. He picks a soldier from each group to relay his commands to their groups. He also assigns the guards a leader for them as well. Shadyk first starts training his force on positions in battle and commands the guard leader to do the same. |

After his squad is sufficiently trained on positions, formations, and changing them, he trains the squad on using their weapons. He practices his spells and fighting with two swords. |

Shadyk says to Feirie as she leaves "Travel safe, travel well, little wanderer. May those who've gone before you be always with you"(Anybody get the reference?). He doesn't particularly care for prayers like this but he figures it's best to stay in her good graces as she could easily go turncoat on the ettinchis. |

Haku crawls around the camp getting stuff she thinks are pretty. Haku stole some knives book and old assasin clothes from an ettinchi named zabuza on her thieving trip. Ik zwaai met mijn handen en mijn handen zwaaien terug. |

Finally, after much training, Shadyk deems his squad ready for battle. He announces that he and the squad are leaving. After making sure that everything is all right, they leave. |
