I've had to temporarily (possibly permanently) remove Petz 3 and PetzA from my computer. Ever since I installed it, my computer has been acting really funky. As in the time constantly gets messed up in Windows... I made backups of my two Scotties, but part of me worries that this means I won't be able to play again. Go figure! |

Still have the weird time bug, so it seems it wasn't Petz after all... No viruses or anything, either, so I'm stumped about that. But PetzA did cause a massive computer lockup while uninstalling. I only have Dogz 4, but I might give that a go instead. I made copies of Auchintyre and Ardmara, and also saved all of their photos! In the absolute worst case, I might put them up for adoption here. Better to have them doing something than sitting in their files forever. I'm still hopeful I can give Petz another go very soon! |

My copy of Catz 4 arrived today... And I don't know where to start.  It's been so long since I've played. Do I adopt one catz or two catz? And which breedz? I think I'll have some fun finding out! |

Petz on Wikipedia Basically, it's a virtual pet series where you can raise, breed and train your own catz and dogz on your computer. You can still find the games rather cheaply on Amazon; that's where I got my copy of Catz 4.  Slightly related: I was working in the charity shop yesterday, and in amongst some PC games that someone donated was Dogz 4! I got really excited and was going to buy it... Until I opened the case and found that the disc wasn't inside.  |
