The messenger tells Talorio. Herb   norndara   7/23/2013 Talorio growls to the messenger " I said look at the WHOLE CAMP and check the nornchi egg, not ask an untrustworthy nornchi what is going on! I will send you back but this time don't even look at Derix". The messenger runs off in the direction of the camp.(the camp is supposed to be a good distance away from the squad)   NimhsLab   7/23/2013 Ameerega had accidentally fallen asleep. She wakes up and is not at all fooled by the rock, since it is a rock and is not the same weight, nor in possession of the same distribution of weight, as a real egg. She sighed, knowing that she came in too late to earn Derix' loyalty. She had hoped that by showing him that not all ettinchis are so distrustful, and entrusting him with simple tasks, she could acclimate him to their society. As with children, so with those who have been mistreated. He had needed a mother-figure, and she hadn't been there. She sat back down, hearing the yells from the perimeter, and cried. She was worried for the poor egg, and hoped he at least had left it curled in it's blanket. [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   HavenHerbaven   7/23/2013 Derix grabs Ameerega "Shh, I hid the egg the nornchi's are trying to steal it, it's now safe." he says. Herb   NimhsLab   7/24/2013 "Derix, I think it would be safer here. We have guards, and despite the draft, it is almost certainly warmer here. What if it hatches and instead of being born into a world of warmth and happiness, it's born cold and alone? Wouldn't you be frightened, young and small, in a big world with no-one to guide you? I don't doubt your intentions were pure, but every-one is worried. Could you please bring the egg back?" [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   HavenHerbaven   7/24/2013 Derix looks at Ameerega "Yes, I don't want the egg to hatch the way I did." Derix brings the egg back, hugging it in blankets "I'm sorry I took this little one." the egg starts to crack while Derix is holding it, he tries to tell Ameerega but it hatches, the norn looks remarkably like Derix. Derix then runs with the baby covered in blankets, "Ameerega! the egg hatched when I was holding it!" Herb   NimhsLab   7/24/2013 Ameerega smiles, leaning towards the little one, "Welcome to the world, my young friend." She asks Derix "Thank you for bringing the egg back, Derix. Now, what do we name... Her? I'm afraid I don't know how to tell..." [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   HavenHerbaven   7/24/2013 Derix looks at the hatchling's face, "It's a baby girl, so what should we name her?" Herb   NimhsLab   7/24/2013 "Maybe we could name her... Fierie? I always rather liked that name..." She looks to the child, "What do you think? Do you like that, little Fierie, little flame in our hearts, or are you someone else?" [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   HavenHerbaven   7/24/2013 The little baby giggles in happiness with the name. Derix looks at the baby, "Do you think I I could take care of her?" he ask cradling the baby Herb   NimhsLab   7/24/2013 "Of course! Just make sure to ask for help if you need it. Maybe go and introduce her to the other little ones? Make sure they know she's one of us, and that they don't play 'chase the nornchi' or anything like it..." [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   HavenHerbaven   7/24/2013 Derix walks to the other little ones "Hi guys this is Fierie, she's just a baby so you have to be careful with her." he says setting up tons of blankets in the crib. Derix then goes to the messenger "Tell Talorio the baby has hatched" the messenger runs off and tells Talorio Herb   HavenHerbaven   7/24/2013 Derix picks up Fierie and cuddles her "Hey Fierie." he says. Herb   norndara   7/24/2013 The messenger arrives at Talorio's squad and Talorio asks him what's going on at the camp. The messenger tells him that the egg has hatched. Talorio thanks the messenger. It's now sunset and the squad is almost at Lynville. The squad starts looking for a place to sleep. Eventually they find one and Talorio starts giving instructions, "Okay, we've have now found our temporary camp. When we go to sleep I want everyone to have their weapons near them AT ALL TIMES! We are going to take guard shifts that are 2 hours long. Each guard group is going to consist of 4 ettinchis, one on the northern part of the group, one on the southern part, one on the eastern part, and one on the western part. When their shift is done they will each pick another who hasn't been picked. If you have already been picked you tell the one who picked you that you've already gone. If you see something that MIGHT be dangerous, you wake me up and show me it. If it's something that you know is dangerous, you yell out an alarm. I will be taking the first shift, along with 3 others of my choice. You all better get some sleep, because we're getting up extra early so we can catch Lynville's defenses by surprise". The warriors go to sleep.   HavenHerbaven   7/24/2013  1 Derix cuddles Fierie, and Fierie coos softly and snuggles up to him. Herb   Lenn   7/24/2013 Zabuza sends a few medical supplies to the battlefield so the soldiers can mend themselves if they get in trouble. Ik zwaai met mijn handen en mijn handen zwaaien terug.   HavenHerbaven   7/24/2013 Derix asks Zabuza if he would like to hold Fierie. Herb   Lenn   7/25/2013 Zabuza takes fiery for a while. He also decides to give her a little medical check up. Ik zwaai met mijn handen en mijn handen zwaaien terug.   Lenn   7/27/2013 Zabuza thinks there has been too little action lately so he starts packing up his stuff again. Ik zwaai met mijn handen en mijn handen zwaaien terug.   HavenHerbaven   7/28/2013 Derix sees a huge Nornchi army coming Herb   NimhsLab   7/28/2013 Ameerega hears the stamping of many feet, and thinks that that cannot be a good thing. [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   HavenHerbaven   7/28/2013 Derix sets Fierie in a hover crib and hides the children in a abandoned house, he then grabs a messenger to tell Talorio that there is an army. Herb   norndara   7/29/2013 Talorio is woken violently by a messenger. The messenger tells Talorio that the camp is under attack. Talorio and the other warriors wake up and run back to the camp, hoping that they make it in time.   HavenHerbaven   7/29/2013 Talorio barely gets there in time and sees Derix hiding the children. Herb   NimhsLab   7/29/2013 Ameerega is standing just inside the hiding place with a long knife, as well as her stiletto. She has a grim expression, and thanks Derix for bringing the children to the hiding place. She then pulls up a chair so that she can sit, unseen, beside the door. She asks if he can stay and help guard them, considering what happened last time there wasn't back-up nearby. [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   Lenn   7/29/2013 Zabuza has started operating in the shadows. he lurks in the shadows and assasinates everyone who isn't paying attention. [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   Lenn   7/29/2013  1 zabuza sneaks up to ameerga and tells her she doesn't have to worry about the assasnating. Ik zwaai met mijn handen en mijn handen zwaaien terug.   norndara   7/29/2013 Talorio and his warriors arrive in the camp and start fighting off the nornchis. He sees a nornchi creeping up on Ameerega and throws his halberd.   Lenn   7/29/2013 Zabuza hears the fighting but decides to continue his nap, Ik zwaai met mijn handen en mijn handen zwaaien terug.   HavenHerbaven   7/29/2013 A nornchi comes up to Derix and drags him a way Derix struggles but passes out, and the nornchi laughs. Herb   NimhsLab   7/29/2013 Ameerega sees Derix being dragged off, unconscious, by an enemy nornchi, and yells from her placement at the hidden nursery. she throws Talorio back his halberd, which hit it's mark quite nicely. [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   HavenHerbaven   7/29/2013 The nornchi gets out of site dragging Derix.Meanwhile in the nursery Fierie wakes up and starts crying. Herb   NimhsLab   7/29/2013 Ameerega is really worried about Derix, but hears Feirie start crying and goes in to comfort her. [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   HavenHerbaven   7/29/2013 Fierie stops crying and looks around "apa?" she looks around again and starts to cry.
