I've actually been into Creatures for ages - I originally got into the games several years before the Gameware forums closed, when Albia2k was still around and active. So, eight or nine years ago? I lost interest for a while and have only lurked since I got back into it a few years ago, but I figured it was time I started interacting with people again. I mostly play C3/DS but I have a fondness for C1 and C2 as well. I do lots of feral/wolfling runs and mess around with genetics and CAOS. I first got creatures 2 many many years ago (wow, i wasnt even in highschool yet) free in a local gaming magazine (it also once came with stonekeep and others). Eventually creatures got forgotten (being so young i wasnt particularly knowledgeable about things and wasnt too good with raising the norns) but i discovered creatures gold in a store a few years later and grabbed it, and moved onto creatures 3. still wasnt very good, but i was enjoying it. I ended up leaving it aside for a long time (i believe i couldnt get it working on my newer PC at the time) and last year gave it to an older friend for his young (about 7 year old) daughter (who was aparently smitten and knows more about the game than he has been able to figure out on his own). a few days back i was on GoG, and saw the special for creatures, so i snapped up exodus (and stonekeep!) and have played it a little bit. I'm having to re-learn everything about the game but i am enjoying it so far, and have already had my first birth! (a harlequin/deep norn hybrid named Julia.) I'm hoping to play the game properly this time and care for my norns like a proper parent, haha. I'm a little intimidated as the game has a lot more depth than i ever realised in my younger years. But i am hoping to keep it going for at least a while.   Senior Wrangler Nutter   11/27/2014 Hi Noir, welcome to Creatures Caves! The nice thing about all the games is that they're fairly easy to pick up after some length of time. Although there's a lot involved with the genetics etc., you can play at any level you like, breed for particular traits or just interact with them for fun - no pressure.   exiledcole   11/28/2014  2 Hi, my name is Exiledcole and I'm a Creatureholic. I was sober for years, but I fell off the wagon 2 days ago when I rediscovered my Exodus disc. I was compelled to install the game and start downloading metarooms and agents almost immediately, only to discover to my dismay that the Docking Station server was down. On a more serious note, I've been playing Creatures off and on for many years now, but I've only ever lurked in the communities, never actually joining them. I was first introduced to the Creatures series in a strange set of circumstances. It was probably 15 years ago I think? I was forced by my mother to wait while she shopped at a TJ Maxx. I luckily discovered a small section of cheap PC games and picked up a box of Creatures 3. Luckily I had just enough money saved up to buy it and here I am.
