Hey guys! I feel a bit strange only registering up now. Hey, I'm Space, player since '96, people might know me from Creaturetopia, though I was a chronic lurker known as nini/Anny in the good old A2K/ Gameware forums times. And it feels -weird- reintroducing myself to the CC, since I never felt like I really left, I've been assiduously following Grandroids and C4's development over at those forums, but I've been brought to notice *waves to C_Rex* how the nightlife is much more lively over here and not many of you use the Creatures Online forum at all. So yeah, I've technically been on the margins of the actual community for years. Somehow I couldn't muster the courage to move here, this community pretty much kept me sane* if not alive as a teen, so idk, maybe I've been afraid of screwing it up, after my comfortable nest at Ctopia was lost. But here we are. And I've got a new laptop I can do wolfling runs on, so I'm playing creatures again, and I've stuff to talk about... TLDR: Hi! About me: female, I (really) like parrots, I study natural stuff like animals and rocks and more rocks, too many rocks, I've played every online pet game on the planet and gotten bored of them all, right now I divide my time between Skyrim and Minecraft and my thesis in that order, I have letter-color synesthesia so feel free to ask me what color your name is or whatever, my personality is split enough that I assiduosly frequent both Reddit and Tumblr though I woulnd't make an account on either, horrible places! Also I still have a crush on the Lone Shee. *not sane as such - well - you know what I mean! Edit: also I'm a compulsive editer XD |

My favourite is C3 and DS, but I also played once C1 and C2. C2 seems more complex for me, expecially the fact that you can't grab norns by the hand. My childhood divided into two parts: the first, when I played Creatures Adventures and Playground and the second, when I played C3. My favourite breeds are Bengal, Magma and Treehugger. Also I love Ettins, by the way, they remind me Kaworu (male ettin) and Rei (female ettin) from Evangelion. |

Hello, I'm not new to the creatures series (I think I started when creatures 2 came out) and I've been lurking in the background for nearly as long, but I've decided to introduce myself for a few reasons. First and most pressingly because I've encountered an error that I can't find the solution to (I'll be posting to the help section after this), second because I'm trying to learn more about genetics and the science behind my norns, and third because I might eventually start my own creatures blog if my already slammed schedule ever allows for it. Hello Creatures Caves members, I'm theaterinterior. I used to be creatively titled Norn-Mania. That was literally the best I could think of at the time. Apparently I haven't improved a whole lot as my current one is just what I was listening to plus where I was when I had to chose it. So, er, hi. I've been a member of the community since about 1998, but I've been missing for about 6 years. Eventually the draw to play again overcame the sadness of the series being abandoned. And, apparently, something new is (slowly) happening. So that's exciting. Plus Grandroids. I don't imagine I will be super active. I don't make cobs anymore and I don't think a whole lot of news is happening. But I'll pop in from time to time to see if anything new is happening! That was long. |

Thanks Laura, I think I'm going to. The bug has bitten it seems. I thought I'd check it out, see if I could find my old mall breeds and play for nostalgia. Last night I had a 40 hour wofling run though (over the space of a few hours, time travel?). So, no, it seems I'm not going to casually dip my toe in (although it didn't turn out well, it turns out that in lieu of norns to beat up, Banshee grendels will happily annihilate themselves!) I'm diving instead. I don't think you can ever really leave these games, can you? |

That's great to hear! It's always nice to see returning fans get stuck right in.I envy you in a way. Having played on and off since 1996, playing Creatures has become a bit stale for me now. I'd love to be able to rekindle the feeling you get from hatching your first Norn again. These days I tend to get enjoyment from being involved in the community and developing new agents for C3/DS instead. |

I'm 2 days old and excited to be I'm my first group that isn't some sort of fanatical cult.(The robes don't breathe very well..) and I enjoy long walks, poetry , and fine wine. Seriously though I am an old soul who is interested in a game that hails from the dark ages of technology that required the holy relics known as Commodore 64s.
