He arms himself with a knife, and joins the Ettinchis guarding the nursery.   Lenn   7/20/2013  1 Zabuza sneaks out of the nursery and gets himself a knife. Herb   NimhsLab   7/20/2013 Ameerega hides in the nursery with the kids, making sure they don't panic. [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   KittyTikara     7/20/2013 Lyssia has been up a fair part of the night/day outfitting the hover-boards with as much armor as they can take, while still making sure they can go fast. She also arms her self, and tells Talorio that she will stand guard here. She also points the group of warriors in the direction of a few armored hover-boards. Talorio and the other warriors charge at the nornchis and the battle begins.   Lenn   7/21/2013 Zabuza is waiting in the camp and is ready to help anyone who gets hurt. He knows that his time is almost up, and secretly hopes to die in battle.   norndara   7/21/2013 A nornchi begins slashing at Talorio with two swords. He dodges all but one of the blows. The one he didn't evade knocks his halberd out of his paw.   NimhsLab   7/21/2013 Ameerega, having ensured the children were safe, and that her egg was secure, raced onto the battle-field. Hearing her husband's yell, she runs over just in time to stab the nornchi in the lower back with her stiletto. (I don't think that would be lethal. Highly damaging, yes, possibly disabling, yes, Lethal? Do you really need your liver/appendix/kidney?) (Ah, but quality of life...) [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   norndara   7/21/2013 Talorio picks up his halberd and thanks Ameerega, then heads off and starts attacking a nornchi that was getting dangerously close to the nursery entrance.   Lenn   7/21/2013 Zabuza makes his workplace ready to cure wounded soldiers. Ik zwaai met mijn handen en mijn handen zwaaien terug.   norndara   7/21/2013 Talorio hits the nornchi on the head with his shield. The nornchi slumps to the ground, unconscious. Talorio tells Ameerega and Lyssia to take it somewhere safe and guard it.   KittyTikara     7/21/2013 She tells Ameerega to keep the children safe and ties the Nornchi's hands behind his back with makeshift handcuffs. She flies herself and the Nornchi to the mouth of a cave on her hover-board to the mouth of a shallow cave, high up on a nearby mountain ridge. She gently deposits her prisoner into the cave, and double checks the handcuffs. After making sure the Nornchi won't be able to break of of them, she positions herself to where she can watch the both battle, and the prisoner. The Mobula Ray - My Creatures blog   NimhsLab   7/21/2013 Ameerega quickly returns to the children to see that a nornchi has gotten past the guards! She runs towards it, but she isn't equipped with the right weapon for this situation! She hooks the stiletto in the nornchi's belt, pulling it back before kicking it's stomach. It slashes her on the way down, though, and now she's brought a pin to a sword-fight. He is soon thrown off but manages to inflict a nasty flesh wound with a dagger.   norndara   7/21/2013 Talorio sees his wife and Hannibal fighting a nornchi and throws his halberd, hoping it hits. The halberd plunges deep into the nornchi's shoulder and the force of the impact knocks the nornchi down. Talorio runs over to Ameerega and starts examining her wounds.   NimhsLab   7/21/2013 Ameerega sighs and pokes the slash across her belly, knowing she'll need stiches. She grimaces before trying to stand up... and promptly falling back down. "Ouch" is an understatement. She suddenly has a random thought about black knights... (I figured we would get told to tone it down eventually. Now I just need to figure out how...) The Mobula Ray - My Creatures blog   norndara   7/21/2013 Talorio worriedly looks at Ameerega's wound. He asks her if there's anything she wants.   NimhsLab   7/21/2013 Ameerega says some ice would be nice, looking rather pale and queasy. She seems torn, though, and asks for some blankets as well. [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   norndara   7/22/2013 Talorio brings the things and asks Ameerega if she's seen Derix.   Lenn   7/22/2013 zabuza heads out of the camp to help the injured ettinchi's on the battlefield. Ik zwaai met mijn handen en mijn handen zwaaien terug.   HavenHerbaven   7/22/2013 Derix hobbles back with huge gashes on his legs and arms "Hey guys" Herb   norndara   7/22/2013 Talorio calls Zabuza to get over here, then runs over to Derix and asks him what the heck happened.   HavenHerbaven   7/22/2013 Derix explains that the nornchis where not so kind to him fighting for the ettins Herb   Lenn   7/22/2013 Zabuza patches Derix up quickly. Ik zwaai met mijn handen en mijn handen zwaaien terug.   norndara   7/22/2013 Talorio looks around the battlefield and sees that there are no more enemies. He tells all badly injured ettinchis to gather round Zabuza. He also tells Lyssia and some mildly injured ettinchis to search the area for hiding or injured nornchis and take them to the prisoner cave.   Lenn   7/22/2013 Zabuza gathers all injured ettinchi and starts patching them up 1 by 1.
