Only trouble is that I've got hit in the face with the flu and haven't been able to focus on the little stinkers. The updates will be posted here on CCaves rather than my blog, for convenience. Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Wee Scrivener Trell     6/28/2013 So far so good; the babies are in and we are a go! Most of the Norns are still all bunched up near the incubator, all but one little Hoggle, who decided to venture out into the garden and gorge himself with Feverfew! The others aren't faring so well, since some of them haven't eaten at all, and their life force is declining; some even to 30%. It seems he's the smartest so far, since he's been eating and now has a life force of 70%! Little smarty pants! Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Wee Scrivener Trell     6/28/2013 Now that they're all children, they've become much more exploratory! They've wandered all over Albia, mainly congregating around the temple area. Hoggle has eaten some Baobab, but he's still going strong. Most of them have gotten their strength up, though these pesky cave flies aren't helping their case! Some friendships have been formed, particularly between Conan and Chenal, our resident PMNs, and Jefferson and Louise. In fact, if it weren't for Jefferson's hasty lift work, Louise probably would have eaten that Deathcap she was eying! The only one who hasn't gone exploring is little Red, who I recently discovered is female! It's probably a good thing, seeing as stress could be detrimental to our happy homebody's health. Either way, she seems the most content so far. Keep your eyes out for more updates! Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Wee Scrivener Trell     6/28/2013 The Norns are all at breeding age now, and have developed quite the personalities! Felicity is a frail little thing, often sick and never eating. Hoggle is a daring little fellow, unafraid of anything and determined to survive! Sundae is a sneaky thief and a kiss up, sneaking behind other Norns and kissing them, only to steal their food a minute later and dash off. Chenal is a stubborn girl, refusing to eat or play, guzzling Hootch like no tomorrow, pausing only to sleep! Red is a happy little one, content to stay at home. Louise is unfortunately dumb, and seems to enjoy eating Deathcap. Jefferson has an insatiable wanderlust. Conan is a smart fellow, who always seems to find secret stores of food. Anywho, things aren't looking good. Most of the Norns have around 30% life force, and food seems to be running low. In the lead right now is Conan, who seems content to stay by the hives and sip honey while he watches the bees. Sundae, Felicity, and Jefferson are all on the island with the not-so-friendly Grendel, and Felicity is not faring well. Hoggle and Louise have escaped the cave flies, and managed to find the Grendel's food stash. Red is still at home, but her friend Chenal has vacated the Hootch Still. It seems Chenal has moved along with three of her Hootch cans all the way to below the island. According to the Observation Kit, she's sick... At 14% life force and dropping, I fear the worst for our little booze hound. Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Wee Scrivener Trell     6/28/2013 Just as I feared, Chenal has passed on. She fell asleep, still clutching a can of Hootch, and drifted away. Farewell, little party gal. Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Wee Scrivener Trell     6/28/2013 Louise has died from her latest encounter with the Deathcap, and I fear Felicity isn't far behind her... She was simple, endearingly so, but it was her downfall. Rest in peace, little luv. The first pregnancy of the run! All the Norns are just over two hours old, so here's a recap of their current life forces and medical statuses. * Conan - 74% - Healthy * Red - 61% - Healthy - Pregnant! * Jefferson - 35% - Healthy * Sundae - 30% - Healthy * Hoggle - 25% - Healthy * Felicity - 3% - Healthy * Louise - Deceased * Chenal - Deceased Edit: Just as I posted this, Felicity passed on. Poor little dear hardly had a chance on that island... At least she'll be safe in the afterlife. Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Wee Scrivener Trell     6/28/2013 I am sad to report that soon after Red's baby Cameron hatched, Hoggle succumbed to starvation and Geddonaise toxins. Our little adventurer has left for bigger adventures elsewhere. Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Wee Scrivener Trell     6/28/2013 Soon after Hoggle's death, Red decided to explore about... And led herself right down to the Deathcap... Poor little dear didn't even have time to make it back up to the last piece of cheese on Albia. Be at peace, little dreamer. We will miss you. Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Wee Scrivener Trell     6/28/2013 Due to a mutation that made it so Sundae did not have to eat to live, I have decided to disqualify Emma and Sundae from this round. All it means is the run will be regarded as though Sundae was never part of it, and Emma will get an extra chance to enter a future round as compensation. With that, it's down to our final two! Jefferson and Conan, with Conan being in the lead with 76% life force, and Jefferson with 30%. It's still anyone's game! Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Wee Scrivener Trell     6/29/2013 The last Norn has fallen, this time our dear Jefferson. He didn't find any food in time. Rest well, little brownie. This means the winner of the Project Teddy run Round 2 is C-Rex, with Conan! Congratulations C-Rex!
