New command: Video tags! You may now embed videos into your posts, similar to the way you can embed images. You may click the "commands" link to the left of a text input box or go here to read more. So far I only know that it works with YouTube videos. I'm not sure if other videos use the same HTML tags. I recommend using this size for news: 560 x 315 And this size for forum replies: 448 x 252 And this size for bibbles: 224 x 126 That's all for now. Here's an example of the code in action:- Rascii |

This is kind of a minor update, but I finally brought back the title text for each page. For example, now when you're in the forums, at the top of your browser it will say "Creatures Caves | Forum" instead of just "Creatures Caves". And if you view COBs it will say "Creatures Caves | Downloads | COBs". I think this will make using the back button on the browser easier. I remember someone complained about this a few months ago. Sorry to bump the topic, but I'd like to make an earlier suggestion a little more noticeable. I think we could really use some new themes. I've never really been fond of the C4 theme, and I especially dislike how the earlier games get absolutely no representation in it. I'd love to have themes based on the earlier games, and perhaps one that showcases all of them equally. Risen Angel's Creatures Blog |

I'm sure having lots of themes would be nice, but I spent a long time revamping the website last summer in honor of Creatures 4. I've also changed the title image for Christmas and Survivor. I might getting around to making more themes at some point, but in the mean time, I hope the Creatures 4 theme isn't too bothersome. Update: Messages that you have sent that have not yet been read by the receiving user will now appear with a yellow icon, just like the ones that you normally receive that are unread. I hope this isn't confusing for anyone. It just makes it easier to see if someone has read the message that you've sent or not. - Rascii |
