Fortunately, at that moment the Vogons reappeared and, wanting to randomly destroy something, vapourised the spikes before she could touch them.

Fortunately, the spider web was actually a portal to a magnificent tropical paradise. |

Unfortunately, the tropical paradise was the island from Jurassic Park.

Unfortunately, everyone just went where they liked, meaning that the island was a cesspit of disease and infection.

Unfortunately, the Laura appeared so suddenly and unexpectedly, that everyone totally forgot what they were doing, so the germs on the island got together and infected everyone with a particularly nasty strain of pinkeye (which was at least probably preferable to being operated on by the doctor...)

Fortunately, due to her completely foreign genetic structure, when the germs attempted to infect Hathe a symbiotic relationship was formed, allowing her to control their hive mind and disinfect everyone.

Fortunately, the island's most prolific flora happened to be the Kleenex Palm, known for its ultra soft fronds and soothing, aloe-like sap. |

Unfortunately, the island's second most prolific flora happened to be a specific variety of nettles, known for their nasty, mildly poisonous sting, which looked exactly like the leaves of a Kleenex Palm.

Fortunately, the island's third most prolific flora which is very similar to and closely related to the Kleenex Palm, is even better than the Kleenex Palm and is easy to distinguish from the aforementioned nettles.
