My TCR Norns   beereed   12/17/2012 Hi there, im very new to the game having not played for some 12 years. Also when i last did play i had no idea how complex the game truly was (I was only 10 years old or so) However i have been browsing the creatures wiki and come across a few tools. 2 In particular sound very interesting as they work with the doctor registry cheat. Apparently they allow auto save to work again among other things. I would really love to know if the BORG tool (located here http://creatures.wikia.com/wiki/BORG) is a real program and if so how i can get it to work. I am a little doubtful it will work at all due to the guy asking for money for it and somewhere else i noticed its some sort of freeware/trial program. When installing this program from the link on that page i always get the same error in a foreign language. It does not allow me to do anything, and due to the lack of a readme file or anything similar i have no idea what i can do. I have also tried Creature Editor 32 and have similar problems, it appears to load creatures beta 0.8 but freezes. I also get several errors about not being able to read the registry. I assume this is mainly all because either i have the GOG version of creatures albian. Or possibly because i am running windows 7 and not XP. Also i have indeed tried the usual compatibility and admin modes but alas no luck. Any information would be more than welcome! I would love to see a fix or just a similar program if possible. I would prefer the fixed body data with it, as well!   Malkin Manager     12/17/2012 Hi beereed! BORG is a real program - it was released as shareware, which is why he's asking for money for it. I've used it myself on a Windows XP computer with C1. The download seems to be hosted on the Internet Archive, which can be a bit spotty in regards to how well-preserved downloads are. I apologise, this sounds really dodgy, but if you got in contact with GirlySatan, she may be able to fix you up with a copy. The error with CrEd32 sounds like a registry error - again, I used the original CD on Windows XP with no problems. (I know, how helpful. ) Jessica would be our current resident expert on CrEd32. I wouldn't care so much i have done it before but i keep getting the same error and unable to fully install xp So looks as if i am going to wait till my desktop gets fixed and make use of the dual disk drives which i find easier to dual boot on. My game finally starts up now that I've removed the file, but the trappers are no longer in my world. Would it be possible for someone to send me the original, unedited version? I can always go through another reinstall, though I really would love to avoid that! Silly mistakes these days are driving me nuts. Thanks for any help!
