Fortunately, the instructions were so unclear that the crew turned the fans to maximum reverse, and the zombie seagulls drifted upwards with the air currents and promptly got sliced and diced by the powerful fans, leaving quivering bits of rotting seagull all over the ship.
(poor Hathe, piles of seagull parts everywhere she goes...)

Unfortunately, there was nothing on the ship to eat, other than seagull parts, and Hathe was not ready to stoop quite to that level yet.

Fortunately, the sight of a hungry dragon sobered them right up... they not only cleaned up all the zombie seagull parts, but they cooked up and laid out a 4-course banquet in record time, just before running for their lives.

Unfortunately, bein in outer space by this time, the nearest pizza restaurant was 20 billion kilometres away.

Fortunately, the pizza restaurant was located right next to a wormhole. |

Unfortunately, the wormhole distorted time and space so much that the pizzas were all transformed into Vogon constructor ships.

Unfortunately, at that moment a well-meaning doctor arrived, who didn't know what Vogons were, and out of the kindness of his heart, set about curing them.

Unfortunately, in the process of knocking himself unconscious, he had just narrowly avoided hitting a tiny ship the size of a flea with a group of strange aliens, one human, and a robot on board moving at high speed... it managed to avoid being crushed narrowly, but only by altering its course enough to hurtle into the Vogon commander's chest with exactly enough force to dislodge all the pleghm in his throat allowing him to recite.

Fortunately, there was nobody home on the planet at the time.
One of my favorite episodes, I think it was the inspiration for the Q... Trelane possibly was a young Q who had been given that planet to kind of keep him busy and stop him from wreaking too much havoc (at least until Kirk narced on him to what seemed to be his parents).
