author | Merboy | website | [view] | Ainarda (Elvish Quenya 'Holy Realm') is a new world created by Merboy originally for Creatures 2 but now developed for Docking Station. Originally conceived in 2007, production of this new world halted for four years but resumed in 2011 when the project was completely redesigned by its creator. As it fell back into dormancy little work was done to the project, however as of 2013 the project is being offered for download. While Ainarda is playable the world is not yet complete. As such it is offered as-is with somewhat inadequate food sources, toys, hatchery, and transportation options. |

Love this room. But for some reason it breaks my favourite places scroll. Never seen this happen with a meta room before. I kind of rely on mouse scrolling through meta rooms for the game play so I'm not really sure if I can use this meta room which is a shame, its really nice.

Hi Loke! Sorry this is almost two years late but yes you want both downloads. It's been a while since I installed Ainarda (although I'm playing it now as we speak actually) but I believe you do just as you said; drop it into your bootstrap folder and then go into the injector and inject the items in order.
Let me know how it turns out and take some pics! <3

On the website, there were two different links: "Download Ainarda", and "Download Ainarda's Necessary Agents". The first gives you the world agent for Ainarda, which is straightforward, but the second gives you a whole folder of .c16, .cos, and .s16 files. Do I want that? Should I just drop the whole folder into my bootstrap folder?

I wish someone would revisit this project and make it user friendly. I absolutely adore this world. It's so stunning and has such incredible potential. I have SO many sprites for COBs and animals and fruits and food and other magical things. I regret so much that I never could quite get the hang of coding and thus could never finish this. A great shout out to Ghosthande who helped get the world to the state it's in, though. Ainarda is such an amazing world. I hope you all enjoy it!

The room takes a bit of effort to set up, but it's worth it. It's one of the prettiest rooms around. <3

I did a blog post where I talked a bit about tweaking Ainarda, if that's any help.

I'm pretty sure there are plans to expand upon on it. It's also a great place to try out all of the customization tools, like the Garden Box! Kind of like a nice, clean slate that's absolutely gigantic. And so pretty!
