| Liam is a mix between Siamese and Bengal Norn. I originally hatched this little guy as a mate for one of my females but he does not respond to food or toys or any other objects in the world. I don't know how to help him and I don't want him to starve to death so I thought I'd give him up for adoption. |

It's best to think of Liam not as being blind, but rather, as having a severe brain disorder. His condition does not map neatly onto our human concept of 'blindness'.

No. A creature has to focus on objects to interact with them. Blind creatures like Liam can't do that, so you'd have to inject nutrients into him manually if you wanted to keep him alive.

is there any way a blind norn could smell out food etc. for his life?

Just an unlucky mutation then. Unfortunately poor Liam is not viable.

Hm that's what I thought. Poor little guy...
He is from my C3 standalone world so I'm pretty sure both his parents had only the default genome. Their other two children are completely fine as far as I can tell.
edit: double checked to make sure. I forgot I had replaced the default genomes with the 2017 ones right after installing C3 and all official breeds so both parents had the 2017 genome, not the default ones.

It looks like Liam is completely blind. He can't survive or breed on his own, because he can't perceive the world around him. Did his parents have different base genomes, such as CFE and the default genome, for example? That can lead to sliders and things like this.
