Chivalrous Box is the grendel who played the role of Mahk Mako in the Survivor: Arctic Opinions Column. I even worked his real name into his backstory.

That said, most of the backstory was made up: The real Chivalrous Box was an ordinary first-gen Aqua Grendel who spent his entire life in Chione's lake, eating, sleeping, and playing with the whales and shrimpton that shared his pond. The only interruptions to this life were made by my taking him and posing him for the pictures in the Opinions Column.

He's never met another creature, but he seems fairly content regardless. He'll probably fit right in to an existing grendel population. Plus, having the actor for Mahk Mako ought to be interesting in its own right.
