Sleep Update but Better rewrites the script entirely so that the stims are waited out. It keeps the parts that help creatures fall asleep easier: They no longer need to be tired to fall asleep, and they don't get punished for trying to rest when not tired/sleepy. Credit to Gimmecat for testing & inspiring some modifications. 1.1: Added Lock (like in c3) for better uninterruptable sleep     Urskecs | 6/9/2024   Make sure you have this version! I was seeing really weird sleep issues for a while I thought I had caused with genetics, but it turned out I somehow had 1.0 and upgrading solved everything. There's a massive difference. edit: If the creatures you're playing with are susceptible to "unstimulating sleep" (I think this is an engine problem but can't prove it?), locking sleep scripts (this version of Sleep Update but Better and Albian Updates sleep) will be fatal unless you're watching your creatures and can wake them up forcibly. Genetic mechanisms I tried to wake em up (force a flinch when been asleep for a long time) work when in properly-stimulating sleep but not in unstimulating sleep.
