Creatures Co-op via Doringo on 12/31/2012 | 18 votes Do you think it would be cool if the games in the creatures series had a 2-4 player co-op feature?

@Doringo: Even so, I'd much rather raise Norns on my own than with a group of people, although it would be pretty good for contests and stuff.

@C-rex
The hands would be colored as I said in the bottom comment.

Not too sure on this one. For a starter it would be difficult to tell what hand belonged to you, and I've always liked the fact that it is entirely up to a single player to raise a family of Norns.

It seems more like you'd simply be inviting other people to play your game with you. Actually, I wonder if the game has dual mouse support? It would be interesting to have a 'helping hand' if you'll pardon the pun. Community genetics projects and feral/wolfing runs would probably be more interactive, though I do see that being a problem if everyone had complete control over every creature like in a single player game. Still, it's an interesting idea.

@Libby The hosting hand (normal one) would probably have some kind of console to kick players from the co-op server.

I'm not entirely sure how that would work. Could lead to Hand fights.

Pretty much how it would work: A serverside world would be created and 2-4 hands would be present. Each hand is either Normal, Yellow, Blue or Green so you can tell the difference. Only agents that have been uploaded to the server (By the hosting hand. normal one) can be used and only the hosting hand (Normal one) can use CAOS commands.
