Full Screen or Windowed? via Amaikokonut on 8/13/2012 | 27 votes The majority of the time, do you play DS in full screen or windowed mode (Toggled with Alt+Enter)?

I use full screen. Switching between 16 and 32 bit is annoying, and if I forget to switch it back then my computer won't show the window preview thingys when I mouse over them, which is also annoying.

Thanks for the comments guys <:
I ask because, when considering development that involves multiple panels/windows, I often wonder if I should constrain myself to the 800x600 resolution that the full-screen game defaults to, or if the majority of the community usually runs the game in a larger window.

Full Screen doesn't work too well on my widescreen monitor, and it also lags like heck.

 | Both!
I have Exodus installed on both my PCs. One is a normal PC on which I play DS windowed - this is so I can use things like the Biochemistry kit alongside and record information if I want to. My other PC is connected to my TV and as such it has a really large resolution. Playing in windowed mode on my TV PC makes all the text much too small to read from where I sit (in bed, ha!) so I play in full screen mode to save my sight!

As much as it's a pain having to constantly switch between 16 and 32 bit color, I just can't play on full screen. The game resolution does not play well with 16x9.

I always use Windowed mode, mostly because it makes it easier to develop. On my current computer, C3 has a tiny window, but when I maximize the DS window I can view the entire Norn Meso without scrolling. The resolution on this thing is crazy huge.

I play in windowed mode, although it might as well be full screen mode on my giant monitor! Full screen is actually way too big for me. Most small to medium-sized metarooms fit in my windowed screen, with space to boot!
