Problem With Aquatilis Caverna | |

Whenever I try to run Aquatilis Caverna plants (original or V3) I get a "dependency missing" error. Is it possible to fix this? I used C3 and DS, with C12DS included.
EDIT:- It's fully patched.

Are you aware of Moe's AC Plant Patch? I know you said your game was fully patched, but this patch is really recent and it focusses on the plants.

Yep. Even that won't inject. Is there a catalogue file for the plants that I could use?

Does the Catalogue file from the freewebs patch site work for you?

I'll go try it, but I'm wondering if it's my PC / copy of Creatures. =/
Edit: Nope. Nothing.

=/ And Aquatilis Caverna seemed like my perfect metaroom. =p

Are you running Exodus? It might be that some of the files aren't quite installing in the right places...
If you're running Exodus, do you have the Creatures Remastered Patch installed?
Also, just as a thought - have you tried the Aquatilis Pod? It may include some files that AC lacks.

Nope, not running Exodus or Remastered.
I'll try that, thanks. ;D
Edit: It works. Thank you.

I feel I must let you know that Moe's Plant Patch will remove the plants from the Pod and not bring them back. Still install Moe's patch, though, but be aware you may have to do a bit of manual gardening.

I'm having the exact same problem. So all I have to do is download the Pod and it will fix everything?
EDIT: Installing the Pod fixed most of them but the AC Toys V2 is still complaining about a missing dependency. Any suggestions?
Also, can someone explain Moe's patch for me? I'm confused about the "manual gardening" comment.

I feel really dumb but I can't even figure out how to get my norns into Aquatilis. Is there a door anywhere?
EDIT: Additionally, after using Moe's Plant update, I still have black squares around one type of plant.

No doors, Rascii; you have to transport them into the room manually.
Btw, I haven't heard of the plant update. I can only add critters without an error message with the version of Aquatilis I have. *sigh*

Rascii, did you get the toy patch from the Freewebs site and install it?
Moe's patch will make it so that the plants don't breed quite so much. However, they won't reinject back into the Pod as you install the plant patch - so you'll have to manually transplant plants back into the Pod. Yes, there are no doors into the Caverna and the Pod. Try downloading this file - that ought to fix the black box issue.

I had downloaded V2 Update but not V1, but now that I did the toys are working! And that link fixed the black box, thanks!
You're so knowledgeable of AC.

If anyone would like to repackage AC and fix these assorted little errors, I beg of them, please do.
Unfortunately I don't have a working knowledge of Creatures development anymore, and I think I'd probably end up breaking more than I'd fix if I tried!
I feel I should give huge props to malkin, who does have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of all of AC's problems--she's been fielding bug reports for an age for me. It is much appreciated, both by me and players, I'm sure!

This is slightly off-topic, I know, BUT...
I remember reading something about there being secrets to find in AC. Is this true?

Hmm. Well, originally there were plenty of interesting secret things planned, but I don't think many of them were finished. Currently, the most obvious one I can think of is the glowing symbols. I did put something into one of the rooms which would add a new toy if you pressed the symbols in a certain order, but I honestly don't remember if it made it into ACv2.
