Everytime I try to open it an error pops up saying 'SMALL FURRY CREATURES MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close.'
D: All of my precious nornlings! They need help!
And please, saying that you get this error all the time in C2 won't help me. *Pokes Drac and Grendel Man* >.>

Can't help you then XD
I'm not an error expert really, my area of expertise when it comes to computers is art and playing games -_- |

I've found that C1 works best on windows 98 or 95 computers. See if you have an old one out back you can use (if you don't figure out the problem, anyway) for breeding your Norns. You can move your C1 game to a different computer.
I don't specialize specifically in errors, but if your windows is already 98 or 95, then it might be because something is taking up all its "space" on the computer.
A note to you***maybe you can delete very old e-mails or essays and projects you've began and will never look at again. That might leave it enough space on your harddrive to work.

...However, if you have XP, for example, you can run the program in compatibility mode. Right click on the program and select 'Properties' and then click on the 'Compatibility' tab. Check the box saying 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' and then select 95 or 98. For good measure, you may a well check the 256 colors and 640x480 screen resolution. If it doesn't work, don't eat me; I don't have C1, but that's how I get all my other old games to work on this compy.
