Do you think there is demand in the CC for new dev-tools? If so, what kind of thing? Would a IDE be cool? (Like, an all-in-one editor that saves direct to .agents)
I'm a much more experienced programmer now than I used to be, and I'm able to handle the file formats no problem. GUI is another matter, it would take me some time, and possibly some help from people experienced with GTK, to get that part working, but I'm sure I'd get it in the end.
Also, is there anyone in the CC anymore that would understand things like .c16 compression, to work with that?

I'm interested, at least... I enjoy tinkering with stuff, but haven't ever really taken the time to bother with the things that don't have an easy way to do so. It's always seemed to me that developer's tools never get the appreciation they deserve, though, so of course it's your call. |

Heh, truth be told I need a hobby to pass the time, and working with PRAY files seemed like fun. Right now I'm writing a console app that shows the structure of a PRAY file, that can also extract files if needed.
I just remember that I had a great time when I was playing with s16 files. Although, all I wrote was a program that could load and render a single frame...
If there is nothing in particular that anyone can think I might be able to simplify, then that's fine, it's just as fun either way.
