Hello again!
Forgive me if this is an obvious question or has been answered before elsewhere... ><" couldn't find anything anywhere explaining the best way to go about doing this.
I'm giving Steam's standalone release of Docking Station a try and I want to replace the default genomes with their Colortrue Evo equivalents. I think I've found where the default .gen and .gno files are stored, but is it as simple as taking those out and putting the new ones in? Do I add the new ones and keep the old ones in? Am I overcomplicating this?
Any help would be appreciated.

If you want to replace, take the genomes out and put the new ones in with the same names as the old ones.
If you want both together, you can put the new ones in without taking out or overwriting the old ones, but you won't be able to hatch any without adding egg agents into your agents folder as well. Alternatively you can open them in a genetics editor and inject eggs that way, or use an agent that lets you pick specific genome files to hatch in-game.
