General Forum SIGNUP - C2 Forum R.E. Feral Run    Dreamnorn      12/23/2013 Hey, everyone! I hosted one before, and host one I shall again -- a forum feral run! Anyone can enter a baby norn into the run by telling me what breed and gender you'd like it to be. For instance, I'm entering a male Melange Norn, pictured below: I would prefer to start the run with 6-10 norns, at an even(ish) gender ratio. The C2 Albia will have several updates and additions to it, both good and bad. I'll also happily take suggestions for additional COBs that could help and/or hinder norns! But Dreamnorn, what does R.E. stand for? I'm glad you asked, hypothetical voice in my head. R.E. is short for "random event" -- a twist to the traditional wolfing run I made to make things more interesting. Every post, there's a 50-50 chance of a random event happening to the norns. I made a list of 36 possibilities: 12 bad, 12 neutral, and 12 good. They range from isolating a norn in an abandoned part of Albia to throwing them all randomly along the upper edge to even incubating a "frozen" egg and giving it a second chance. I'm taking submissions between now and noon on the 27th PST or when I reach 10 norn submissions, whichever comes first. Thanks in advance to anyone who'd like to participate in the run! (Forgive me if he looks a little older, my brother distracted me with something and he grew up while I was away because I stupidly forgot to pause my game. Oh well... he seems happy at least.) As for Ocean Bridges, Grendel_Man, I made sure to have them. While I'm perfectly okay with some extra danger in Albia, I've lost so many norns to a lack of bridges, it's not even funny. So yes. Should Minty be a boy or a girl? A male one might be best to even out the genders, but it's all up to you. The good news is: Amber and Holly are both added! I'm going to add Bella and edit this post with her picture in a minute. c: You posted that as I was writing this, HavenHoney, so I'll have her up tut suite! ...And now for the not-so-good news. Hazel, I tried downloading the C2 Santa Norns but the website kept timing out. Then I figured I'd convert one of my C1 Santa babies to C2 (I have tons of them so it's okay), but then he looked like a regular Horse Norn. I'm very sorry about this. If anyone has the breed and is willing to email me a copy of its .exe file, I'd be very grateful. If not, then would you be willing to pick a different breed for your male norn? Norn signups are closed for the main run... however! There are some random events that can happen that can add or remove norns. So... if you wish to sign up a norn as a possible addition to the run at a later point, you're more than welcome to. I'll take up to 4 of these additional norns before the run begins if you all wish, up to one per person, but only if you're not in the run already! EDIT: Batgirl Bella is in the house! EDIT SQUARED: Wow... Hazel said Christmas Norn, not Santa Norn. Wow. Now I feel sheepish. I'll post Santa's picture in a minute. Now we officially have all ten norns, ready for action. I plan to post a starting update tomorrow. Signups by other users who'd like to be "extra norns" for possible random events are welcome!
