Leaping upon the bandwagon!

The wolfling bandwagon, that is.

I've installed C3DS several times now, and every time I install egg agents, I have to hatch a norn to get the breed sprites to install. This leaves me with a bunch of standard first-gen norns that I didn't particularly want, and don't know what to do with. Yes, technically I could just export them and delete the files I suppose, but it seems rather wasteful. While I get the hang of installing more stable systems, I'd rather practice my wolfling runs and be frugal with my norns at the same time.

The only problem is really reducing the number of the norns to get it to something managable. I've just gone through my laptop norn files, and I've around 40, mainly of standard CFE and non-CFE breeds, plus a few Dales, a couple of Sphynxes, a couple of butterflies, the coloured undines, coloured Saharas, and one (very confused) berry ettin with Dale sprites. There are a bunch on my main computer that I have yet to go through, but that's also got some different breeds on it (C12DS and wildkats, amongst others).

So - would anyone be up for a "Use 'Em Up and Wear 'Em Out" wolfling run? I'm tempted to delete all versions from everywhere and just install on my fast work machine - it's set up for VMware but I can disable that. Just install a whole Bunch 'O' Norns(TM) and leave it running, see what happens?

I may have to think carefully how to run this one. I've sorted out 82 norns this evening, and have just found another 29 (although I think that's all of them). That's not counting the plant norns or the pearl mermaids, both of which need tailored environments. I was thinking Capillata only, but installing the norn terrarium2DS, aquarium2DS, desert2DS, Viridia and the lost temple... hmmm.

Right, I've got the final norn list - 89 norns across 18 breeds (more if you count CFEs as separate breeds). I'm thinking maybe a tag team - batches of norns, with one of a batch replacing another if the first dies? You're only "out" for the round if all of your batch die off. That would perhaps even the balance of sexes, as there are more females than males. Any eggs to be hatched and exported pending a Round 2, though I'm not sure how that would work fairly... perhaps by saying the owner of the mother gets the offspring for round 2, as there are more females so everyone should get a couple in their batch.

Does this sound like a workable plan? Any thoughts?
