General Forum contemplating a wolfing run    magpie-angel        4/2/2013 just as the title says i was thinking of doing my own wolfing run but i'm not entirely sure what i should use for it and whether it would be too soon after all the other runs which have been done lately but i've got the itch so i'm running some test ideas through on my worlds and trying to pick out some good breeds for it. any suggestions   Tea Queen Laura     4/2/2013 Well for starters, which game are you thinking of holding it in? I'd say you can't go wrong with DS as it can be easily expanded with different metarooms and a wide range of breeds. Whatever you fancy really! There's no set rule that says which breeds should be used. Maybe you could use your favourite ones? Or the free official breeds, they're always a safe bet. The Apple Norns are nice to play with too, and a good alternative for the Treehugger Norns. As for metarooms, large ones are always a plus as they provide more space to roam around and get into misadventures in; Chione, the Biodome, Ainarda, Veridia... Plus there's the C3 in DS metarooms which expand your world even more with the comforts of the C3 metarooms (all can be downloaded from the Metarooms section). The Crypt is a Godsend for keeping track of deaths. I hope this helps start you off. Depending on how relaxed you want your Wolfling Run to be, strategically-placed, edible flora is always good to have. I think it encourages Norns to forage more? It feels that way.   magpie-angel     4/2/2013 oh it would definitely be a c3/DS run for sure i'm compiling breeds as well speak. i decided to just let them have a run of the ship although all the eggs will probably start in the workshop for some reason my garden box doesn't work. the square that is meant to come up to draw the patches with just doesnn't do it bu ti'll give it another try in a minute but i know it didn't before. it used to work on my old game but i've had to change games since then i'm wondering whether to introduce grendels into the run too   Spykkie   4/2/2013 I don't think it can ever be 'too soon' for more good ol fun, magpie Twitt Stuff Insta Arts   magpie-angel     4/2/2013  1 i'd love to do a recording of it but it won't be a livestream since i can't get that working so i may just do bandicam and then cut it off at like 10 minute intervals and put it on my youtube
