First there was the norn with what appeared to be Generalized Anxiety Disorder -- constantly afraid -- and now I appear to have a norn with narcolepsy. At first, I thought he might have the Sleeping Beauty mutation (which I've seen once before in another game) because he stayed asleep for a long period of time but his need for sleep did not diminish. To my surprise, however, he eventually woke up -- norns with the Sleeping Beauty mutation usually just die in their sleep of starvation and/or old age. After monitoring him for a while, it appears that his sleep patterns are highly irregular...sometimes his need for sleep diminishes without actually resting or napping, while at other times (as I said) sleeping doesn't actually lessen his need for sleep. |

What game is it? If a creature sleeps standing up in C1 they won't rest properly. However it sounds like it is in C3/DS... if you could post the genome here I'd be interested to look at it, and I'm sure others would
Also, did he have any Sleep Toxin in his system at any point? |

I had a norn like that once: Simon's problem was eventually resolved here. Hope this helps! ![[ngrin] [ngrin]](/images/smilies/emot_grin.gif)

I would love to look at that genome! I've noticed from monitoring various little furballs in my current game that their sleep diminishes without actually sleeping. Is it plausible that their Fight or Flight kicked in and it went into backup? I may be mistaken, but their sleepiness could also decrease when they are playing with a toy because it perks them up a bit.
Please post the genome if you have time so we can take a look.
I want to create a C3 breed someday..
