It's been delayed a couple of times, but the most recent and official piece of news about a release date is on the Fishing Cactus Blog: Q4 2012. This should be sometime between October and December... Maybe it will coincide with this year's CCSF! I just hope it doesn't get another delay, although I know the developers are working hard. |

I wonder what kind of competition they would have releasing it in december with WiiU releasing and maybe a new GTA - of course the core audience will get this game no matter what but I know their also aiming to get some casuals too - so timing is pretty vital around that season. |

I really hope that Bigben Interactive do their best to promote Creatures 4. I think the problem with many of the later Creatures titles (Creatures 3, Docking Station) was that there wasn't that much promotion for them, hence the main reason why not many people bought them. |

On the bright side, with the release date repeatedly being put back, it must mean that Fishing Cactus are working really hard to bring us the best game they possibly can. That's what I hope and keep telling myself anyway; I'd rather they took their time, than produce something not as good. What's more, they're taking Creatures 4 to the Paris Games Week soon, hopefully that'll mean more updates to keep us going. |

I reckon Fishing Cactus would have received less controversy over the release date of Creatures 4 if they hadn't announced one in the first place. The first release date, January 2012, was pretty close to the original announce date, and I think its silly that they even spoke of a release date so soon after the game's announcement. I'd myself be willing to wait nearly a year for Creatures 4, providing the game we get is worth it. |

If they hadn't even hinted at a release date in the first announcement, we would have been upset, though. The release dates seem to be increasingly arbitrary-feeling to me... it´s not allowed i don´t actually know why at the moment im studiying to become a baker so that´s not something you can learn at home pretty easy with all the different ovens etc Ik zwaai met mijn handen en mijn handen zwaaien terug. |
