I was thinking of doing this myself. I am probably going to start with Darksider 2 or Sleeping Dogs and perhaps Dust (looks like an amazing XBLA) - but this game might be the hardest one to stream and explain to people without them instantly judging it in the wrong way.
What would be some of your own bullet points to explain the creature 4 series in it's entirety? Hopefully it's somewhat entertaining to watch. I mean it has to be i see people watching Chess in the hundreds sometimes so i think creature 4 can fair better, lol. |

I probably won't be streaming Creatures 4, although I hope to post some YouTube videos! It's kind of hard to explain Creatures... "Artificial life" or "life simulation" doesn't quite get across how complex the game is, yet going into details in the background can be a little too advanced for newer users. I would watch, though! It might also be a different sort of game than the previous Creatures games, so there could be new and different factors to explain.
I'm pretty sure watching Creatures 4 will fare better than watching chess... At least, I hope so!

Well, we won't be able to do this with C4 for awhile because it won't have a genetics editor, but I was planning to make a DS video where I hatch norns missing each possible lobe and compare their behavior to a normal norn. A video like that should make it obvious this is no ordinary pets game.
By the way, I don't care if anyone steals my ideas for their own work, as long as you don't try to stop me from making my own stuff. Many ideas I mention are things I don't have the time or skill to actually do. |

See I am fascinated by that type of stuff, Ettina. I found myself looking at creature videos to see what aspect people like the most within each creature video and it varies but I would definitely like to see more of what people have to offer in this community.
It's also a super passionate community if other people see that, I think it will draw more people in to see what intrigues everyone here so much and what satisfaction they can get out of it. It's one of the reason i want to stream this game because i want to give it more exposure if i can to show this is really a intelligent/fun game that can give you infinite replay value.
by the way here is my stream
My Stream channel follow it if you'd like if some of you want to follow me that would be awesome, right now I am just doing other type of games trying to build myself up until creature 4 arrives |
