General Forum SpringRain Returns    SpringRain      7/14/2012 Hi everyone, After a few years hiatus (OMG, I can't believe how fast that went), SpringRain has returned to CreaturesCaves, lured by a huge pull of nostalgia and missing all my friends and of course the worlds, Norns and games of Creatures. I'm not sure that anyone would remember me. I was working on a project with someone a while ago (we were talking about making really fragile and delicate Norns called Fragment Rhodeira Norns that were based off of flowers and that users could mollycoddle and fuss over, that we could find challenging to care for). I also had some ideas for some bath time agents (shower, cute shampoo, and comb) and submitted a few bits of fan art as well as concepts for new breeds of Creatures. He he. I must apologise for disappearing like that for so long without any warning. I got really depressed after losing the work I had started on the Fragment Norns. I guess I was ashamed about that more than I thought. I should have saved a back up. But I ran away instead. >_>;;; No, I'm not proud of myself. But! That doesn't mean I should stop trying right? I still want to make those agents at least. (Despite my feelings that maybe I have too much stupidity to accomplish this, I want to create my own agents to share some day and give back to the community) ^_^ Anyway, people like Papriko, Laura and a few others might remember me. But it's okay if you don't. <3 Just wanted to let you know that I missed you all, I'm really sorry, and that I still love the world of Creatures very very much! I remember they sounded so cool. And the bath time agents too. Great ideas! I away wondered how come norns don't end up with tangled fur. For lost norn replacements, TCR is still up and if not exactly thriving is still in action. Also.... Welcome back.   Malkin Manager     7/14/2012 What's happened in the last 3 years or so... hmmm... Steve Grand is making a new game, you can see a sneak peek from it here. He's had 20-mumble years to make it more complex than Creatures, and all signs point to it being very interesting. Creatures 4 is coming in the last part of this year... you can see most of the news about it at the company blog. C2toDS has been beta-released - look here (you need the music and version 2.1). These stick out in my head, but I'm sure other people can think of more things.
