General Forum Legendary C1 version?    Norn_master      6/30/2012 It has come to my attention between the closing of the Gameware Forums, and now that I cannot find a photo of my C1 box. My aunt got it for me when C1 was just out, it had an unusual box, brick looking, and contained 2 discs. It was large enough that you could find a half gallon of milk inside the box. I managed to find a photo of the print manual from my boxed version, although I cannot find a photo of what the box looked like, or any information about that particular release of the game. Dvader0086 from the’a Discord!   Norn_master   6/30/2012 Pic of the 2 discs from the game (not exact) It had that image, but the two disc were in color on the outside like the outside of the manual. Full color. Also all sides were the same size, and it had the infamous norn and gredal on the front, with a digital dna warning and the mindscape logo. I don't remember anything else about the box other then it wasn't your normal PC game box. It looked like a box some bottles of liquor come in sort of. I apologize if these many post break forum rules, as I post I remember more about it. It’s a me! May I ask what was on the two CDs? Was it the entire game, stretched across two disks or was there additional content on the other one?   Patient Pirate ylukyun Manager   6/30/2012 List of Games Looks to me like Creatures Deluxe. The other disc is probably the Life Kit.   Tea Queen Laura     7/1/2012 Funny... My first version of C1 isn't on that list. The box and jewel case had a simple design: a white background, with 'Creatures' in black lettering and an illustration of a hatching Banana Norn in the center. Unfortunately, I can't show you a picture because I don't have it anymore, I gave it to HuffaMoose as a present (maybe I should have kept it)!   Norn_master   7/1/2012 It had two discs. The discs were not labeled. I gave one to a friend, and he told me he was playing it too. I would assume from his statement, that it was two versions of the same game. If I did check both discs, I must have came to conclusion that both were the same. Unless the life kits, were released with the game I don't think that was it. My aunt bought it shortly after the release of the game. I read about the game in a magazine for youngsters after I already had it. I think the name of the magazine was called 3, 2, 1 Contact at some point in time. Edit: 3, 2, 1 Contact was named so until 1996, then it changed it's name to Contact Kids. I was there when they changed it's name so sometime between before 1996 and the year 1997. Probably the magazine released the article in 1996 shortly before or after Creatures came to the USA via mindscape. According to the creatures wiki, Craetures was released by mindscape in july 1996. Hope that narrows it down. Currently looking for achieved copies of 3, 2, 1, contact and contact kids. Edit 2: Looked at the list, box background was not black, was white, looked at the box vertically, and the top and bottom were square shaped, horizontally it was shaped like a rectangle. I do not remember if the image from the manual above was on the front. I do remember seeing both the banana norn and grendal on the box tho, cause I remember thinking how cool he looked when i got it. It’s a me! Dvader0086 from the’a Discord!
