Fun topic:
Did you ever get addicted to Creatures so much that you had to quit playing them for some time, and if so, what kind of withdrawal symptoms did you feel... lol
My experience: I once got sorta addicted (around 2-3 years ago) I couldn't let any evening pass without playing Creatures, otherwise I'd feel crazy XD I forgot some details, but after a while, addiction got weaker and I didn't play Creatures for few months.
I'm a hardcore christian first, and a creature breeder second.

Actually, Creatures helped me cope with other addictions in my life and got me through a real tough time with depression. I'm probably much better off in life today because of Creatures.
The game itself is very relaxing, and I love the relaxing background music. Between the music, scenery, and fun you have with the creatures, the overall experience has a very calming effect on the nerves.
In terms of relaxation, I can definitely see how some would think the game is addictive. |

Hearing these stories about Creatures makes me really wish C4 would come out soon!
I agree with you that Creatures is very relaxing, bjw. I remember I particularly liked the music and background sounds of C2.

Ditto, although I grew up with all of them, C2 has always hit home for me, most especially the music and scenery. Always wished C2toDS had the music.
I've tried installing C3 for the past year or two and all my CD's give me an error about midway through or before installation even begins, sad really.
I believe DS has given me issues too.
I know we're all stoked for C4 but I honestly would like to get back into the previous ones too.

Karias: My version of C2toDS, kindly hosted by Ylukyn, does have the music. Just make sure you download it as most places that are hosting it host it separately due to it's size.
As for Creatures Addiction... I've had it. :p When I was younger I played it so much I'd hear norns all the time. Gotta love this series. |
