General Forum How's my creature doing?    C2marrie      8/13/2011 There are many pages on this general forum..and I'm too lazy to search anything similar to what I'm about to explain. Here you have the adoption center. Were members are able to submit their beloved creatures, to share them, but mostly for others to use them in their worlds. Perhaps you did it for the fun of it, or you want to create a larger bloodline. Today, I've put some of my Norns up to adoption, awaiting a place in your world. And to preserve the magic of adopting, I've destroyed their data on my HD. They are really currently here! Something I personally would wonder if somebody adopts of my Norns is: how is he or she doing in your world? Is it doing well? Does he/she breeds? Did it pass away? (hey, no biggie.) And will it's offspring also being put up for adoption? This is worldwide Creatures, and I my Norns take part of it. Wouldn't it be fun to keep eachother up to date about their adoptions, and how they continue their artificial lives? Then, here's the place to write your reports. To make appointments, and perhaps requests!   Norngirl     8/13/2011 Noo D: how could you destroy your'e copies X_X' You never know if the files vanish here too ^^' ah well it's up to you XD I myself try to keep many backups as possible ;P I think this is the right way to do it : D Remind me of old times creature pages that often said that you could e-mail them to hear how they being in the other worlds or if they ever got offspring,how are they doijg etc ;P I lie the way you do - and if I ever download your'se I love to let ya know - with pictures and stuff ;P I also got a few norns here on creature caves (but more on TCR - but theyre only C3/ds..I was ging to maybe post some c2 ones there as well..just look for norngirl there XD ) I also have some norns I keep for my own adoption page on my site (that feel like it never get done - but yes,it goes slow but I will succede) I also don't mind they talk Dutch - I find it interessting with other languages - maybe can learn something from the norns or so ;P I once had french,german and spanish talking creatures in my c3/ds world I downloaded and the interessting thing was they never spoke to each other - meaning that if someone talked the others didn't react - unless it talked the same tounge : D btwn: will you also do the same with C3/ds or C1 norns or only C2 ? Just curious : D As said - I might have a try with your'e adoreable little ones later on when I can,I let ya know,thats for sure ^^   Patient Pirate ylukyun Manager   8/14/2011 I downloaded Spock and Ezra. I will let you know how they do and maybe post some descendants if I can get them to start a population.   C2marrie   8/16/2011 @Norngirl I destroy their data because I'm pretty much sure, I'm not gonna use them in my world anymore. If I'm going to put future Norns up for adoption, it means I specially breed them for this site and enthousiastic new users. I'd personally find it more fun to read how their lives continue somewhere else, instead of me using them again in my own world. Like I said, I would try to keep the magic of a 'real' adoption.^^ I won't regret destroying their files. My Norns breed VERY fast..my worlds are almost like an industry.XD They'll be replaced soon enough, by new interesting developments. When you download one of my Norns sometime, I would LOVE to see forthcoming pictures. Anyway, don't be too hasty and take your time! I might play C3 or C3/DS soon again, and I'll sure not hesitate to put some up for adoption as well then! But the next Norns will still be C2's though. I'm about to try out the Cannies! edit:I might download some of your Norns too then! I think I already viewed some. Very colorfull ones, if I'm right? Do they require any slot?(Ps: I lack in knowlegde about slots..0_o) @ylukyun: That is really really AWESOME!! I hope you like them! They will not let you down. ^^ If you are going to put a descendant up for adoption I will surely download it!!   Tea Queen Laura     8/16/2011 I got back into Creatures 2 today () and I've just uploaded Aztec and Astra to the Adoption section: Aztec is a baby Generation 1 Golden Desert Norn, and Astra is a baby Generation 1 Hebe Norn. I hatched them both as a pair, becuse I think they'll produce some attractive offspring together. I'd be interested to see what anyone else does with them though, so feel free!   C2marrie   8/16/2011 Laura, I will definately download your pair! And yes, deserts and hebes can produce lovely offspring! Especially when the hebes turn gold as well. I will let you know when I get this far and they're imported. Ylukyun, I downloaded and imported your Emily today. She has lovely colours! She's still alive and now fully grown, she gave birth to at least three children. I named them Candice, Aram and Ratna. Aram is still alive, Ratna wasn't so healthy and passed away before I could notice. Candice also already passed away, but she also gave birth to four children! And to Dreamer, who uploaded Irene, a bright blue pixie female. I imported her to my world, and appeared all blue as I desired. She's really lovely! But I have to disappoint you, she has severe health issues. Nontheless she grew to a full adult, but currently no longer alive. She gave birth to a daughter, but it passed away shortly after hatching.   Patient Pirate ylukyun Manager   8/16/2011 It's nice that you downloaded Emily, she is one of my favorite creatures that I put on the web. I have uploaded Xon who is the child of Spock and Ezra, if he survives to breeding age maybe you could breed him with one of Emily's descendants!   C2marrie   8/18/2011 Laura, Astra and Aztec have entered my world yesterday. And as you probably expected, they have produced a LOT of offspring! Aztec alone has produced eight children so far. He's now temporarily exported to my HD, for future breeding..so you will read more about him soon! Unfortunately. Astra has passed away. She alone had seven kids. 5 children belong to Astra and Aztec, they're named; Woody, Caruso, Tony, Maribel and Castro. Here are some pics of your Norns in their continuing life! Ylukyun, I also have adult pics of your Emily! ^^ And there's one of adult Xon, who's been introduced in my world! ..the snail likes to be in the picture. XD About Xon, he was a healthy and social norn! But there was one problem, he had no natural sexdrive..but when I injected some, he was unstoppable! His four children are named; Angelo, Serenity, Petra and Anina. Serenity is my favourite. She's full grown, but I'm having trouble finding her a mate. Anina is temporarily exported, and the other two have passed away. Xon also bred with Astra! He was fun to take care of! But unfortunately, he has also passed away. Also..Aram, Victoria and Castro are going to be up for adoption!   Tea Queen Laura     8/23/2011 Wow, thanks for the update, C2marrie, and Ylukyun's Norns look cute too. Emily has nice sprites, I might have to download her myself. It looks like Aztec and Astra have done amazingly well, just like I thought they would! Once I get my world up and running again (it crashed ) I'll adopt Castro. That's a shame about Astra, but at least she had a good innings. EDIT: I've put another pair, Apollo and Athene, up for adoption.   C2marrie   8/24/2011 Oh really?? My world crashed as well! I blame the canny genome, from the moment I introduced it to my new world the game started to act funny..from frequent crashing to being unable to use the science and neuroscience kit. Now the world is completely down..and I return to my previous game, wich is a nice world holding large norn bloodlines already! You will love Castro! I'm not sure if he will pass on the purple colour, since Xon didn't do the same. And you should adopt Emily too! She's easy to handle and will produce interesting offspring. I will download your Athene, and pair her up with some of my strong males. ^^ I don't have the right sprites for Apollo. I'm also having issues installing new breeds and sprites. Me sad.   Tea Queen Laura     8/24/2011 Have you got Snapdragon's Hatchery Expansion (bottom of the page)? I hatched Apollo from that; I didn't have to install any new breeds or sprites to use it. And thanks, I think I will adopt Emily and Castro when I need some new breeders! I hope you enjoy Athene!   Deskman   8/24/2011 I just checked and apollo works fine on my C2. it does have c1 sprites, but they come with C2 so it shouldnt be a problem   C2marrie   8/29/2011 I can remember that I once hatched a horse norn by surprise in my C2 world long ago, while I wasn't even breeding them. So it may carry the right sprites in my game as well! I'm also working on some adoptions for C3/DS. I downloaded some new breeds and other than C2, they all work succesfully! I'm on a total of 12 breeds, and I've got some fine examples to share! *Edit: Some of my C3/DS Norns are up for adoption! So if you're playing the game, feel free to check them out! Ps: I'm also on a total of 14 breeds now. Plenty of fine examples to share.
