Hello. I'm a new Apple user and I'm wondering if anyone else who uses a Mac has any suggestions for fellow Mac Creatures users.
Is it possible to play Creatures games on a Mac computer? Etc.

Hi Rascii! I have an iMac I purchased just recently. In order to run Creatures, I have Parallels, which is a program that allows you to run a Windows environment on a Mac. Parallels itself is relatively cheap, but you are required to purchase a Windows 7 license. All in all, I believe Parallels and Windows 7 put me out around $300. However, I also require a Windows environment for some work projects, so it wasn't like I shelved out the money just for Creatures! However... I probably would have anyway. Ha!
There are probably other methods that will work, which I would be curious to read about. It's not exactly the best advice to tell someone to spend $300 to play a beloved game. Hopefully this gets you on the right path, though, so that you can play Creatures on your Mac very soon! Good luck!
Parallels 6 and Windows 7 are currently bundled together. Note that this offer only applies to Windows 7 Home Premium, which is the basic version of Windows.

The disks you have won't work with your Mac as is. The Kutoka release should work on your Mac, but I'd recommend setting up a Windows simulator to play instead, if you're comfortable with that or need it for other stuff too. It would be really handy for things like the genetics kit, etc.
If you get the Kutoka version, you'll want to read the page on the Macintosh Creatures Evolution Engine for hints, cheats, and 'this should have been in the manual' type advice. Hope this helps.

I've got the Kutoka Creatures Exodus on my Mac Mini and, aside from the bugs fixable from that Wiki page, its all good
