Because I was so late to the party with the whole Creatures thing, I never ever got to have the norns you could purchase online. Makes me a bit sad, the Hardman norns sounded win too... If Gameware did put the breed pack norns back up I would so buy them. It makes me wonder has anyone ever tried to contact about these? Considering the shrunken community size though, I doubt it would be a profitable or even sustainable idea.
What's your opinion on this? |

Well, I would prefer them to be downloadable for free of course. And I would realy like to know why Gameware took them down compleatly for such a long time.
And if Gameware realy wants a cheap solution (witout doing much) they could simply put up a public note saying that anyone can put the packs up for free download. I personaly think that anything would be better than the current state (= no legal way of getting the breedpacks). |

Currently there is a petition running to get them available for purchase on GOG.com - see here for more details.

Ah sweet!~ I'm there! Thanks.
Free packs does sound really really cool but I'm in doubt they'd chew along if asked. |

It's already listed on their wishlist, all you have to do is click the button to vote for it. Very simple. I see ~50 people have already voted. That's good progress.

From what I understand, someone in the CC has already requested and been granted permission to share the files with his/her friends. Whether or not 'friends' means it's open to the community is open to debate.
I know it's generally frowned upon, but there are places where you can download those breeds. One or two torrent sites have them.
I can probably help people find them, so feel free to PM me...if you know what I mean... |

We can't stop people sending each other the Norn packs. What goes on off this site and within the confines of email is none of my business and I have no control over it, obviously. However, please keep things like this in PMs, and avoid mentioning such activities in the public forums. If Gameware or GOG.com ever do decide to release the breed packs, it won't help if everyone and their hamster already acquired a copy for free. |

Breeds cannot be posted online in any form, so any discussions must be through PM or email.
I should also mention that torrents and warez sites can sometimes contain trojan viruses, so always be careful online.

Yeah sadly, you can't buy Creatures packs anymore. But - maybe they're once be available on GoG. Until that you can have fun with some nice 3rd party breeds that might even be better than those by GW.
I'm a hardcore christian first, and a creature breeder second.

I agree with Vatrena; there's so many cool, third-party C3 and DS breeds out there in the meantime. SeeYou7's Where Is the Breed? is like a treasure trove.
Not forgetting there's the Ex-Mall Breeds as well. |
