What happened to Ask Laura its not accepting more questions why that happen? |

I'm not very well at the moment with an ongoing illness, so unfortunately I'm not in the mood to update Ask Laura. It's closed for now, because I don't want to have lots of unanswered questions piled up when I feel like answering questions again.  |

Ask Laura is CLOSED Temporarily. As much as I like to see Ask Laura being enjoyed, I do have a bit of an issue with several questions being submitted in quick succession, with not much consideration given for quality over quantity. I've been flooded overnight.  It's a shame, but the column will remain closed until I've flitered out the good questions from the slightly spammy ones and have answered them. |

The column is OPEN again; I closed it again briefly, in order to really do justice to a great question that was still awaiting a reply. I've said this before, but I do much love original, thoughtful and imaginative questions. And while I have the opportunity... I've noticed that some questions feature a dramatic situation, while I see Ask Laura as just a column for "daily life" scenarios, with casual advice. Don't get me wrong though, some dramatic questions are indeed very good, but most may get deleted; sadly I am not a talented screenwriter for action-packed disaster movies.  |
