I was thinking about that, in creatures community, we got many people can creat every sorde of Add-ons, we have artist, 3d artist, programmer, real fans, some really awesomes guys XD, But, i was wondering, why people should have to wait for creatures 4, if all togheter, we could maybe make it? the cc isn't all that active anymore. many people are casual members, and any massive undertaking like a whole game takes a lot of time and people. check out openc2e. if anything, it's the closest we have to the first step. http://openc2e.org/ just a heads up, it's probably wise to lurk a bit in the cc, and to chill out on the new posts about topics like this for a while. people will appreciate you more if you use your skills to contribute rather than asking us why we're not contributing enough  I wanna be your lover, Lipstick my name across your mirror. openc2e is still in development, a work in progress, so I imagine that's why you're not finding it very useful. Also, Christine is totally right, contributing is a much better way to keep this community going at the moment. Think of it this way, you're already contributing to this site, one of the few remaining community portals, and so you're helping it stay active. |

Helped out by doing what? I've seen people asking for volunteers before, but haven't seen anyone explain what actually needs to be done. Maybe it would help if people knew what is needed? Art? Major coding? Bananas? The Wiki page leaves a lot to the imagination.  |

I feel that those who don't develop may feel put off from volunteering with open2ce, me for one, because I get the impression they just need people who can code. I can't code. lol.  |

I would expect that artists would be vital, maybe genetics, ideas/concepts for agents and breeds, designs for the worlds, types of plant growth, and critter ecosystems, etc. As much as you need people to make things you also need people to come up with the designs of what could be made Don AmberCreatures |
