I have noticed the increase of C3 and DS agents and its great that the community is alive and all but... I feel that C1 and C2 have been slightly forgotton  Since GOG have released a new more compatible version of creatures the albian years how about we hold an event celebrating the old creatures games? The event could be named creatures time machine or some other relevant name! What do you think?Don't be worried about who is right, Just follow you heart... |

Hmm, that sounds like a good idea to me. It's a shame if the good older games get forgotten. They are part of the Creatures world too. Maybe we can have two wolfling or feral runs, one for C2 and one for C1. We could also maybe brainstorm new agent and breed ideas for them, even if they're just hypothetical.  Wiritng stories and making drawings about them would be good too. I don't know how it would be organised into an event though. I'm back after 11 years. Holy dooley! |

Well I think your ideas are good! I am already writing a story set in creatures 1 and 2 albia! I'm also doing a C2 wolfing run! Maybe someone could do a C1 wolfing run? If no one wants to do it I would do it after my current one Also maybe we could encourage others to do things? Thank you. ^_^ I have Creatures 2 and Creatures 1 so maybe I can help submit Norns for them. I could write or draw a little something as well. Maybe we should have a Creatures one RP where after a while, they get transported to C2 somehow and we can RP that? It's just ideas at the moment but I do remember you could get the C1 Norns in C2. Oh, I didn't know that. Why are C3 and DS easier to develop for? I thought they were more complex than the previous games but maybe I was wrong about that. Still, there are a few COBs out there for the games so we know it's not impossible! I'm back after 11 years. Holy dooley! |

C3/DS is easier to set up/ inject, rarely using more than a .agents file. In contrast, you couldn't inject anything into C1 without a great deal of difficulty. The older games are some of my top favourite. I spent the most time playing C2. I can still remember some of them who I raised to senile. I discovered something interesting too. If one had OHSS and I raised them all the way to senile, they finally came right at that lifestage and lost the OHSS. Don't know why but that was true in a lot of cases for my Norns. I'm back after 11 years. Holy dooley! |
