I'm fond of having wolfling runs in the grendel jungle, as norns that live there quickly become disease-resistant.
I was looking for opinions - how do you personally alter the grendel jungle to become more (or less) habitable?

I usually inject a few food agents and put them in there for Creatures to use because the Grendels can't seem to find much food on their own and then they all come looking for it in my Norn Terrarium and find my Norns there as well, much to their delight! The Ettins will wander in too and usually into the Grendel Jungle, so I make sure they can get a snack on their journeys stealing gadgets. I also often use the door hiders and lift button/lift hiders on doors and lifts, so that the room becomes sealed and the Creatures stay in there. Occasionally I check back in the Jungle and kill hots any critters and mozzies that get out of hand. I also occasionally anti bacterial spray my Creatures (but not the Grendels because they seem to like having a little bit of bacteria).

Do you have any favourite food agents, SpringRain? I like the kimbulplant - it's based off a jungle sprite and it's fun to hang it from the ceiling. I'm also growing to like the Shee Ginseng, which brightens up the jungle, has healing properties, and adds a bit of detritus to the jungle - I've noticed that for such a fetid place, it doesn't seem to have much in the way of detritus that lasts.
Do you have Vampess's Mosquito Fix? It puts a population limit on the mosquitoes, which means they can't breed to plague proportions.

Well, I really like Hausmouse's Cornucopia agent. =^_^= The Horn of Plenty thingy with the pretty bubbles that double as toys for creatures. I also liked the food crate agent and the little round blue wolfling vendor agent that dispenses food automatically as it's needed, as well as the grey rectangle version of that (But I forget what it's called. Dispenses a set amount of fruit, food and seeds whenever Creatures need them and you can change the amounts it gives out). I never even knew about the Kimbulplant, the Ginseng or the mossie fix! So thank you very much for the links, Malkin. I can't remember where I got the agents I downloaded but I know of course I got Hausmouse's agents from their website pages. Lol.
Edit: Most of the agents that I got, I downloaded from all different websites all over the place but some things you can Google search or find on Creatures Wiki as well. I have a big ol'
list of Creatures websites on my favourites menu that I use to browse them. *Laughs*

Interestingly enough, in bacteria.cos they use RAND to decide where bacteria goes - essentially they roll a 100-sided die when making bacteria, and any number less than 65 means the bacteria is put in the grendel jungle.

Personally, I just remove the bacteria and leave it as is. Then again, I typically hold my wolfling runs in third-party metarooms, so that probably explains that.
In ship-wide feral runs, I tend to add the awkwood creeper and chili pepper pot from the hardman pack. They add additional sources of fruit and food to the place. In addition, MK-Grendel's Grow Control Plant not only livens up the Jungle, it provides yet more fruit.
And finally, both versions of AquaShee's Square Root are fine additions to the Jungle (or anywhere, for that matter).
Edit: I almost forgot about the "Ovicidal Agent," a conglomeration of Clucky's Timer, Egg Finder Advanced, and Mini Recycler; and the C3 Delay Gate, Count Gate, and Radio Box. Detailed plans for this are included with Minisauron's Arimedes GoMs.
Basically, it acts as an egg-eater, ensuring that only the best breeders pass on their genes, rather than the lucky ones.

I've just discovered that the agents from the Yautja Norn Pack make a fantastically atmospheric addition to the Grendel Jungle... The Crunchy Beetles act as another bug to help keep the rocklice happy, although they don't help the Fungi situation much! XD I also use the Rainbow Shrooms to supplement the fungi.
