Who's seen this movie - if you have, what did you think of it? I just went and saw it tonight and I loved it! The storyline and the STUNNING 3D environments kept me gripped from beginning to end, I can't imagine not seeing it in 3D now.  I came out of the cinema wishing I lived on Pandora instead of planet Earth, lol. |

I actually saw it on Christmas. I thought the storyline was pretty cool. The special effects were definitely great, and it was nice how they didn't overuse the 3D effects--it was subtle, but it still added a lot. The alien animals' designs were cool and well done, although I was hoping that the native race would look a little less human... after the talk at the beginning about genetics I was expecting the real aliens would look more alien (although I guess that wasn't the point).  |

I really really want to see Avatar, just normally because I can't wear 3D glasses due to my prescription glasses. (The 3D ones make them go blurry instead of clear and I can see all the red and green colours everywhere) It looks exactly like the kind of thing I'd enjoy a lot. Can't wait to see it! I get all excited every time I see the preview. Lol. I'm back again after being away a handful of years. 2026 Revamp, Baby! |

For me it added to the poignancy of certain parts in the storyline. Didn't the environments and animals look amazing? LOVED IT! All the bioluminescence was wonderful. I do think that Grace was much too recognizable, and the 3d added a lot but the movie would have worked without it. Most humans had badly done charachters, I think this was lon purose and I like it. I want to buy the dvd for the native animal studys that will hopefully be in the special features. I wonder when a Navi Norn will come out?  Maybe cave norn sized  91/2 out of 10 in the spring you gotta let the flowers fully blossom |
