Santa Norn
Santa Norn crept down the chimney without making a sound.
Not a creature was awake not even an ettin.
Little nornletts snug in their beds dreaming of teddy
bears and bouncy balls.
Santa Norn chuckled a low chuckle as tip-toed to the Christmas Tree.
He looked over near the table and saw cookies and milk for him!
The cookies were shaped like norns with red and white frosting, Santa Norn ate them.
He slowly walked towards the tree and got out his big sack full of wonderful toys.
Santa Norn pulled out a toy for each little Nornlett and crept back up the chimney.
He got on his sleigh and gestured his reindeer to lead the way and flew into the sky.
"Ho,ho,ho!" "Merry Christmas" He shouted.

Was this inspired by the Twas the Night Before Christmas poem? The second line just reminds me of it. It's very cute, a good story to tell the baby Norns before bedtime on Christmas Eve. |
