We're a bit over two months away from the Creatures Community Spirit Festival for 2009, so it's high time we settled on a theme. Overview: As you may or may not know, in the wiki and just about every discussion thread the most popular theme ideas so far are Time, Preservation and The Future. Each of these themes are open to a lot of interpretation, and there's no doubt in my mind that we'd be able to get a wide variety of stories, agents, artwork, metarooms and events from any one of them. So now is the time to choose. Please vote for the one theme that you would like to be the driving concept of this year's CCSF by posting in this thread. This poll will be held across Albia2000, Creaturescaves and Creaturetopia just as the other polls have been. For those of you wondering why there is no 'other (please post idea here)' choice, I'm sorry, but we're getting a little too close to the CCSF start date to go back to the drawing board on this. Once this poll ends people will have a little under 2 months to prepare something for the CCSF. If we give them any less time than that and make drastic theme changes it's going to be very difficult for people to be ready in time. Conditions: Anybody who has not already voted in another Poll #2 may vote in this one. I am not counting posts from other threads right now either, as that would just get confusing, so if you've indicated your preference in another CCSF thread please do so here as well. It goes without saying that you are only allowed to vote once in this poll. You are welcome to discuss the pros and cons of each theme in this thread as much as you like, and you are encouraged to tell others about it, even if you are only doing so to try and convince them to vote the same way as you. The more people who vote, the better. I will tally the votes two weeks from now, which will be September the 8th. Time. Time is an interesting concept. Words to explain how things progreess as existence goes on. In other words,time doesnt exist. Just various words to explain the postion of the sun. In my nerd cave, nobody can hear you scream. Feed my pets: Shroomy and Glow! |

Great to see that people are getting in to vote nice and early  I've editted my first post to include the current tally of votes: so far Preservation is in the lead with 5 votes across the three forums, followed by Time with 4 votes and then Future with 3 votes. I can't actually see your poll on KoA right now Wup as I'm being told that they're down for maintenance, but when I do get a look at it I'll be sure to add it and the current tally to the first post in each thread. Thanks for spreading the word  |

Time for a quick update: Time and Preservation are now tied for favourite with 7 votes each, whilst The Future trails behind with only 3 votes. The Kingdom of Aithalis poll has also been added into each of the threads from the other forums polled (ie: on here, Ctopia and A2K). |

 Does edash have the magic potion to restore health?I know what you mean, aspects of the CC are endangered (sites vanishing, etc.)- but I think if we want to add a little vibrancy, we need to focus as much on the future as the past. Bibble. |

CC and creatures in general has been dying for a while, creatures has been dying for a long time, a few years, right? Anyways, I kinda agree with Dan, the future and past are good ideas, like, maybe we could re-release certain things that may be discontinued! beep |

Merging of all three themes sounds interesting, but my first vote was Time...a theme that's a big thing in my life, on a personal level. Preservation..that makes me think, the theme of Preservation shouldn't be just for the CCSF, but for year-round. Future..I'm not sure how to reflect on that, since it hasn't happened yet. :p Time seems to bind these two together, Preservation(the past) and The Future, don't you think? Thus, I hold my position. XD |

We're past the halfway mark now, so I'm here to bring you another update So far Time has a dominating lead of 13 votes, with Preservation not far behind it on 9 votes and Future lagging behind on just 5 votes. Once again, I've editted my first post to show everybody how each of the polls are progressing. Today is the final day of voting! Those of you who have yet to cast a vote please do so now! If you wish to change your vote at the last minute that's fine too, so long as you do so before today is through. The current polls have Time as the overwhelming favourite, with a whopping 21 votes. Preservation is lagging behind on 11 votes and The Future is down and out with just 5 votes. As always, I've editted my first post to show everybody how each of the polls are progressing. |

Well the polls have come to a close (except on KoA, which had a poll set up a little after the initial polls were created), and a clear favourite has emerged, having dominated the polls across three of the four polled forums.
