Rascii I was just wondering would it be possible to have a off topic discussion forum as at the moment I am forced to post everything in strangoe.
For example if I wanr to start a thread about Dr Who I have to start it in strangoe and this just doesn't make sense.
Please help we nee an off topic discussion forum.

I'd suggest trying to make as much discussion as you can in Strangeo for the time being. How is your pig flu website going, by the way?

We've tried to get a seperate forum for Games, witness ATTN: RASCII, but it didn't really get anywhere.

We could make the strangeo for rp's and discussions, and a games forum for, well, games. I know it hasn't worked in the past, but maybe this time.

I think the idea was that strangeo would just be random conversation about music, books, current events, etc. And the games forum would be for RP, the old wooden table game, ban the person above you, etc.

Is there enough random conversation to justify splitting up Strangeo? If you'd like a separate forum for conversation, then I suggest you start using Strangeo for conversing (or revive old conversations, like the recipe recs thread).

Often they are started, but the games are just more popular and quicker to post in so they quickly push the real conversations to the bottom. That recipe thread sounds great though, perhaps we should revive it!

Yeah, I know how that goes. :/ I can't revive the recipe thread on my own, because then I would be double-posting and that would be incredibly naughty of me. XD

It's sad, I feel like crying, the rp thread, eagle kingdoms, is on pg 2, and seems to have died, yes the games are easier, but we need a way to combine a game and an rp, like a......
A......
Well.....
We have chat threads..........
Which are equivalent to game threads........
Which are shorter than RP threads.......
WAIT! We can make,
A chat RP!
That's it, an rp, that is like a game, and like a chat, like a game, but, more of an rp, and a chat!
EDIT: Just brought life back to the recipe thread!

Erm, I don't think that statement made much sense, nornloverian. Perhaps try less redundancy?

Well, it's basicly an RP, with, well, low expectations, I guess the only big rule would be something about 'try not to use chat speak', the irony of it being a chat RP.
In other words, it could be more of a practice rp, like, a small amount of rules, like, god moding could be semi-allowed.
It would be like a game, like how the wooden table game started to have rping in it, it would be similar.
Basicly short posts, an rp with no plot, like one that we make the plot up as we go, and simple enough for anyone to play.

Mmmkay, I guess that makes sense. If you start such an rp, I'll be sure to check it out.
