General Forum Feral Run '09 Entries    Dreamnorn      5/23/2009 It's been such a long time since the members of Creatures Caves have had a forum feral run to participate in and watch, so I figured we could start one. It will take place in C2 and will be Norns only. -- Agents and Updates: Dispensers: Fruit Dispenser Plants: Religiously-placed Billberry Bushes Updates: Albian Updates v 1.1, Death Script Update (for no super-corpses), Edible Bugs and Critters, Fungi Update. Bridges: The Hang Bridge (connects the castle ruins to the tree house), the Ocean Bridges (for no drowning Norns), and the Waterfall Bridge v 1.1 (connects the tree house to the platform across the waterfall) Toys: Extra doozers, including Devilish Critters and "Santa's Little Helper", various extra canon toys. Enter a Norn: You can request two Norns by breed and I'll create a baby Norn for you. For example, "I would like to enter a Male Dewa Norn." My brother (because he pestered me) and I both have baby Norns. Dreamnorn: Ettinfreak: The List of C2 Norn Breeds (Creatures Wiki) If you would rather enter an adult, trained Norn (of which I may need a few), PM me and I'll give you the email to send it to. The Plan: I'll be taking in entries for the contest until the end of Tuesday, May 26th and will begin the run day after. This will ensure that people who really wanted to enter the run can do so without being rushed. -- Of course, it won't compare to Laura's Feral Run of 2007, but I think that it will be a fun experience for us all. If you have any comments, suggestions or questions, I would be eager to hear what you have to say. And if you, Laura, have any suggestions for me, do tell. But, unfortunately, we appear to have a sprite mix-up: => Where can I get the Golden Desert sprites? Malkin: I literally had to flip a coin to determine your Norn's gender, Malkin, because with Officer's submission, we had exactly three males and three females. And as for the arms, please don't kill me! I had to resupply eggs three times at 2 AM to get a Horse Norn this close. Officer-1BDI: Just to let you know, I'll be at a game convention most of the day today and will add any entries requested today when I return this evening. Let's keep it up! Late this Tuesday is when I stop taking entries, and the following morning I will start the Run. EDIT: Okay, I need some more Norns. Preferably 10 before the run starts, and I'm behind three Norns. With one day left for auditions at this point, I'm changing the limit someone can enter Norns to two.   Officer-1BDI     5/25/2009 I saw your post on dA. I think you're short a female again, so I'd like to request a female Animal norn. ETA: I can't seem to get the breed off of Trinity's site; I have a copy of the breed's ZIP file if you need it. I'll post up pictures tomorrow morning (stupid things won't upload, grr), but Rascii's Kai Norn and Brownie's (aka PianoPrincess's) Butterfly Norn have been successfully created. The male Kai which Rascii suggested has been created at the adolescent stage in the Kai pack, but even so I'll add Milk Vendors to the list of agents for the world. EDIT: Now we have pictures! Brownie (PianoPrincess): Rascii: Officer, if you haven't recieved my mail, for some reason I cannot open the RARZIP files you sent. Could you perhaps send them to me as normal ZIP files? If you can't, that's okay--I was willing to buy the software anyway, but I'll need to get consent from my parents first.   Officer-1BDI     5/25/2009 That, unfortunately, was my attempt to send you a non-RAR file. I'm really disappointed that it turned out to be a RAR file anyway. I had no idea my computer was packaging my ZIP files like that. :/ So, new plan!
