Spotted Spurge: Seed Dispenser and Plant.

This agent contains a small pot of Spotted Spurge that dispenses seeds when clicked: The seeds are edible and will grow into reproducing plants if on any soil room type. In reality, Spotted Spurge is a small, pretty plant that is unfortunately carcinogenic to handle!

For norns this expresses as a very tiny dosage of heavy metals when eating the seeds. This amount is so small that eating tubers (a source of EDTA) can completely remove it, but a pregnant norn fed a good amount of these seeds should experience a very tiny increase in mutation rates in her offspring.

This agent has been tested with multiple runs of wolfling norns kept for many hours with the plants as part of their diet, and during that time no norn built up enough heavy metals to cause death or noticeable health deterioration.

Uses for this agent include:

Feeding pregnant norns to slightly increase mutation rates.

Growing the plants as a food source for wolfling norns that may also slightly speed up natural mutation.

Use as a natural source of trace heavy metals for toxic breeds and creatures with unique reactions to heavy metals.

The plant is coded to grow at a slightly random pace per plant, producing a few seeds during each of their flowering stages. They also have a population cap as part of their script that prevents them from producing clusters larger than 10 plants at a time to avoid population explosions.
